Scorpio Male Like Surprises?

I am thinking of surprising a Scorpio on Vday w/ a gift. I know he's not expecting it. I don't have any expectations after it. Just a gesture to say I'm thinking of you and I care. Good idea, or no? Do they like that or not usually? And it wouldn't be extravagant either, something more like thoughtful that pertains to something I know about him. Not too personal, but personal.

No really, he doesn't. We really don't talk all that often as we used to. It's been weeks. The last time I seen him I was in a hurry and he said hi and seemed like he was starting to say something else then stopped but I was on the move. I'm sure he thinks I don't care or am not thinking ab him.

We were dating for awhile, casually. Well I decided I'm not going to do anything, I've gotten a lot of signs leading to it not being a good idea. I don't want him to think I want him like that for a relationship or anything, just to know I care.But well nevermind anyway. lol. Thanks for the feedback everyone.
