Scorpio rising!

Hi everybody. I've just started studying astrology and found out that i'm a virgo with Scorpio rising. I know that in some ways Scorpio and Virgo are alike, the virgo being shy and the scorpio being secretive. What else are you like if you have scorpio rising? and whats the real difference between scorpio and virgo or are they just very similar? I'd really appreciate someones reply. Thanks.
Virgos and scorpios are really similiar yeah,one of the biggest differences between the two is scorps are usually more moody movivated while virgos isn't.You probably come off as more passionate than the basic virgo.
The similiarities include being able to notice the things others don't,the difference is scorps are going to notice the feelings part of it through suspecion while the virgos going to notice the mudane,logical part of it.
Both are generally quiet characters,virgos usually being shy or laidback while scorps usally just have other things going on in thier heads or private being as its not anyones business whats going on in thier life.Wanting to know every single thing can be a bit too nosey and too much info that they don't need to know.
I think Elliot has virgo rising so he could probably answer in more detail about being the opposite:scorp with virgo rising.

Jenna, I'm willing to say that you'll either like someone completely or you'll stay away from them and never too readily lend them a chance to know you - Virgo attends to those who they can feel secure with, and Scorpio tends to know what they want and all else is in their peripheral vision.
Oh, but you're Virgo tendency to be shy may sometimes be shattered all too quickly. You might be a sucker for people with recognized 'importance', only because the combination of desire and security will have priority with you, even if you don't realize it too much.
Maybe you've read some of this stuff, but I'll post just in case - both my bro and sis have Scorpio Risings and this description is a good one:
