I was in a relationship with a Scorpio.
When we were both in a good place, the good times were heaven. When we were both in a bad place, the bad times were Hell.
The rest of the time it was two people trying to figure out what "place" the other person was in.
This sums it up rather well....
No a good idea in my opinion. Fights are like WWIII.

I've dated a few and I have a few aquaintences that are Scorps (I don't use the word "friend" easily) If the maturity is there, any relationship (platonic or romantic) can be great.
I have a very good platonic male scorp friend, and he's the only person I've been tempted to stab with a carving knife...

i either get along with another scorp or cant stand them. no real in between, in true scorp fashion
i find that those i do get along with I become closest too. i truly believe only another scorp can understand a scorp so the friendship flows quite easily. i have a good scorp female friend. she and i are actually quite different (i have a taurus moon and she has an aries moon) but we get along well. we kind of both have what the other lacks but still share the basic scorp nature

he used to sent email like he did not intended but I know what is his tactics. lol
but I don't want him anymore. He was too strong and he is Sergeant US army and I can't deal
his jealousy... it was like when he wants me to Jump I must jump. Yet he cried after I left.
Too much emotional drama. Scorpio are good lovers. Just too difficult to handle.

I'm dating/getting to know a Scorpio guy. Talked online for a while, met up and linked more. At first it was fun, intense and exciting. But now that passion and excitement for me is dying down. Its like he doesn't do any chasing or having the urge to contact me or figure me out. He's all ME ME ME.. talks about his cars and himself all the time. I'm with him on the sofa or restaurant and he's on his mobile phone. I'm making the effort to make it work because iv never been in a relationship. eg yesterday afternoon I called him when i was at work. After having a convo for 2min he said he's busy doing so and so and he will call back in about 3 hrs. Its the next day 3pm right now and iv heard nothing..

About the jealousy part, I can definitely relate. My husband was one jealous SOB the first eight years, I mean REALLY irrationally jealous. He still is but nothing compared to years prior. He used to question me: "who's that guy?" "what does he want?" "don't you think he was leaning in too close?" I'd look at him and just laugh, like are you kidding me? Then he'd respond something to the effect of "well, I don't trust him."
I definitely agree about Scorps being a good lover. Based on my experience, they're really intense and aggressive in pursuing you once you give them the green light. They can also have a REALLY bad temper, express sudden rage--then act either vulnerable or ruthlessly cold. Again, this is based on my experience.
My best experience were always with other Scorps. Maybe it's my Scorp venus, Scorp Ascendant. My husband and ex were both Scorp Sun, Scorp venus. We immediately clung on to one another. I NEVER had that experience with other signs.
yeah I got the lil jealously messages from him asking me how do i know this and that guy.. why are you following him? do you talk to him? he did that a few times and i just said yeah I'm sleeping with all of them.. he really annoyed me..

He really put me off...

I know this is old, but in my life I've had two "best" friends. Both of them are Scorpio's. I've know one since we were 9 and the other since I was 20. I've never been in a fight with either of them. We clicked off the bat and they both seem to be the only one people on this planet that just get me.

I have a great Scorpio male friend. Upon meeting a couple of years ago we instantly got along. He just gets me. My birthday is 11/18 and his is 11/19. With this in mind I call him the moon to my sun. We also have another Scorpio friend. He has known her longer than I have but she is just as wonderful as he is.
