i have a scorpio younger sister and i love her to death. she is so incredibly funny, and domineering and humble at the same time. i dont know how that works but she is amazing.
only thing is, i worry for her outlook on life. she has a problem with authority and cannot seem to get out of the teenage mindset of small-scale rebellion (sneaking out, etc.) she seems very unsure about what she is doing after high school. should i worry? do scorpios have a survival mode that will kick in and show them how to get along, or do i have to help her expand her future options?
i would appreciate some older scorpion advice. thanks for reading this.
I would leave her to it. She knows exactly what she's doing..I was the same. Growing up in a strict controlled environment!..I always sneaked out, returned, wouldn't take any shit from anyone, got into huge arguments and fights..sometimes physical..Its a learning curve..Scorpios go through quite a bit of hardship in the beginning..What star sign are you? why so protective? apart from the obvious sisterly concern
thanks for the replies, all. shes currently working at a part-time job, where she works lots of hours and is given lots of responsibility. but she says she likes it fine, just doesnt want to "work there forever." also, ladydane, shes also a very sneaky girl - always been, probably always will be.
i worry for her just b/c we come from a messed up childhood situation and have to pretty much fend for ourselves. also my family makes me feel almost obligated to help her (even though i love to) because they stress out majorly. we're basically the adults in our family. i can be protective as far as drugs and other bad roads go. other than that she does as she pleases, i just try and be there for her when she comes to me for advice, etc. its just the background that makes me worry. if u wanna know my signs i have 'em on my profile.
but i definitely trust her decision-making skills. and you're right, LD, gotta let her figure it out for herself.
Scorpios are amazing creatures although prone to self distruction because of there pig headed ways. Hopefully you dont stand in her way because she will only resent you for it. Your best bet is to find her something she likes and have her strive for excellence in it and if she doesn't go for it bet her she cant do it. Most scorpions are anti-authority and hate to be doubted but by doing this she will be hell bound to complete the task to rub it in your face, and she will, and she will enjoy it. Its just the way we are if this disturbes you im not supprised.
She will snap out of it trust me..I see your Pisces/Aries..Well pisces have a tendency of smothering..I don't know about any other scorp females but I can't stand anyone smothering me..It really irritates me..Be there and listen to her but she will always do as she pleases, as long as you support her and she knows that.
I was extremely sneaky when I was younger, made my parents go through hell and back but in the end I came out a better person and thats what I was striving to do..individuality is where its at..Always was the blacksheep of the family. My grandma's wise words.."watch out for that one, she's far too quiet, she's planning something big"..lol..and boy was it big..We are definitely not irresponsible at any age..
So SB and Azora..I think you shouldn't worry so much. She will just be happy with the fact that your there to support her. We hate authority, we are pigheaded, we like to control, we get away with murder!..just the way it is..
thanks for the replies i feel better and will make sure to just encourage the things she does want to do...also bittenbyscorps thanks for the tip on betting her she cant do something...i wont use it unless really neccesary, but i dont care if she "rubs it in my face" as long as shes ok and happy
pisces as smothering? first time ive ever heard that
lol, challenges are a good motivater for the more dominate ,yes.
Scorps are natural survivers so just let her do it,she be knocked down here and there im sure but the only thing you'd really have to worry about is the obvious things like drugs, gang banging and such. She'll learn to be more human if shes knocked down a few times so its good for a scorp! We almost need complications to learn something new either about ourselves or other humans nature.

I Know you like to find loyalty and truth in someone. Do you though, try to mess with someones heart and maybe make them want you when you are only playing a game? I've heard all over the boards that you mean what you say. Do you really? Or will you mess
...so the best thing would be to communicate, but he doesn't seem to get it. He texts me & leaves messages yesterday, but I need the day away. I visit old friends who knew guy who died, felt good to talk to people who understand.

I'm Leutenant General Haffo of the "Shark Attack" garnison and hereby asking for alliance treat with Scorpio garnison. I'm hereby asking immidiate joint allied attack on several neighboring countries (boards) without any hesitation.
To anyone with kids of any age, here's some advice. Bill Gates (Scorpio) recently gave a speech at a High School about 11 things they did not and will not learn in school. He talks about how feel-good, politically correct teachings created a generation
