I?m a virgo with a venus in virgo and have been friends with a scorpio for more than two years. I am intrigued by this person and once I found out his birthday, out of curiosity I did a few online searches about the scorpio sign. Although he has the intense gaze, he doesn?t seem very sensual or highly-sexed (the exact opposite, actually). He and I are very much alike, even though the sun sign details for scorpio suggest that our signs (although compatible) are different. I found out his venus sign is in Capricorn, which made more sense to me as Capricorn is also an earth sign ? I originally thought he was either a Taurus or Capricorn, based on his actions.

My question is, astrologically speaking, is the venus sign an important factor to consider? Does anyone have experiences with scorpios with a venus in a different sign, and does that make their sun sign reading slightly off? I am new to the site so interested in your thoughts.

I am a scorpio with venus and mars in capricorn. I would advise you not to be misled by what you see now. It may be the typical capricorn caution kicking in. But once you gain TRUST and are in safe circumstances..the intensity and depth would terrify you. Be prepared to meet it with matching vigour or else..
