at least my scorp fiance isn't. He says if a person is going to cheat nothing can stop them so why dwell on this and be jealous. It's that persons choice to cheat. He says it's okay for he and I (even when we're married) to have a fast dance in the club with the opposite sex as long as it's not a slow dance. Him not being jealous makes me feel like he does'nt care. I know he truly loves me but I dont get the whole jealousy thing. Does this sound silly to you?

Sounds like he has a mature attitude and has learned to overcome jealousy. I wish I could think like that. I'm obsessed with the idea that all guys will cheat on me (bad experiences) and I wish I could stop fretting so much. We are both jealous so at least he understands me but jealousy is an ugly thing so it sounds like you're lucky. He said he wouldn't like you to slow dance so to me that sounds like hidden jealousy lol.

I would agree on some level... I don't think that it means that he doesn't care or is incapable of jealousy. I merely think that he has a more rational comprehension of jealousy and when it should and should not apply... I am guessing your Scorp has a air moon.

Ummmm, hmmmmm, how to explain. If you are going to cheat, then you are going to cheat. If that is the case, then obviously you do not want to be with him, so then why would he want to be with someone that doesnot want to be with him? That is the PURELY objective take, I would assume. That being said, no matter how high-minded and objective I can sounds at time, I never truly am. I can see that and believe to some point (perhaps even to a point more than some others), but it is only to a point. A fact dance? I can maybe see that. It is nothing more than having chit-chat with someone at a bar. A slow dance? A deep, engaging, and consuming conversation... Do you see the difference?

That being said, theory and practice are undoubtly two different things. I think it might make a difference with exactly what was going on during the fast dance. I find it hard to believe that he is completely incapable of jealousy (the comment about the slow dance is a good example of that fact), he merely strives to overcome unwarranted jealousy, which I cannot necessarily see as a bad thing...

I'm surprised he differentiated fast dance vs slow dance. I think dancing is cool as long as you are not pressing up on someone or wining with them (reggae dancing is very sexual). I think its okay at times but when you're dancing and some guy tries to cop a feel or dance with me from behind because of my sexy big butt, I find it offensive and sexual in nature. So if my guy was to reggae dance closely (wining) with a girl or dance from behind with a girl (which may look innocent but most guys are trying to enjoy the feel of a girl's booty), I would explode! I actually stopped clubbing because I can't stand it when I just want to dance (with some space between us) and the guy wants to get closer. I don't want his sweaty body meshing with mine. IMO, dancing too close is like sex with clothes on.

"Candlz, I am so tempted to test the waters just to get some kind of reaction from him. So, are you saying that it is okay when you're sitting at home and your man is out with the fellas and your man is having a fast dance with a female that maybe you dont feel anything?..and then he's says it okay if you do the same?? Where's the Jealousy— I Want some Jealousy"

Oh, I missed this post... Hmmmph! Gotta agree with Candlz...

"BA..so he's out with the boys and you are sitting at home? That sheds a different light on the subject. Heck no..I guess he wouldn't be jealous then!!! What would he do if you tried to do the same—"

Your boy is full of shit and just trying to say that so he can get away with whatever he wants... Test the waters (and feel free to tell him ALL about it)!!! Fair is fair... 🙂

Thank you all for your comments, I can see the difference between the fast and slow dancing. I admit I'm more jealous than my scorpio, thats because I was cheated on in a previous relationship, not because of any insecurities. And in the beginning of scorp and I relationship He tested our relationship very well. Yes, he's mature in some ways others not so. When he's not jealous (within reason or normal jealousy) I feel too free.

Candlz ur right I shoudn't be home while he's out with his freinds. I turn my friends down all the time when they want me to go out with them,.thats because I'm trying to be good. With me feeling like my Scorp dont care and doesnt mind if I fast dance with another guy, Its best I stay in untill it gets resolved.

"Alcheme this is what my friend told me also, scorp Wants to do this so therefore he says Its alright for me to do also."

i don't think a true friend would ever plant a bad seed in my mind like. not to say that she isn't trying to look out for you, but her knowing that you have been cheated on before (if she does, that is), its her duty as a friend to help you get past this hurt, not stoke a similar flame. so every guy you date from here on out who lets you have some sort of freedom wants to cheat on you? i don't think so. and besides, do you really want to be joined at the hips, or put on a leash 24/7? BlueAqua, i say count your blessings and don't push him, cause you might push that one great thing away from you. i'm sorry you were once cheated on, but that was the past, let go. we all go through adversity to learn and grow, but only you can decide for yourself whether or not you want to learn the lesson that is being taught. are you really going to let a past hurt hinder you forever?

i have an aries moon and scorp asc. like your s.o. (not a scorp sun though, but if it counts, i have quite a few pluto influences in my chart), and i used to be very jealous, but i would never show it. i've never been cheated on before, and thank god for that, but like someone said, jealousy is an ugly thing. and i think that you should look into WHY the person cheated on you, that way it would be easier for you to move on. were you unattentive and so he sought attention elsewhere? or were you suffocating and he needed to get away? in either of these cases, you both are to blame, but the blame is mostly on him because he should've come to you and talked about this like an adult. but if he did bring issues up, and you just glossed over them, then the blame is more even on both parties. it takes two to be in a relationship, not one. the person that he cheated on remains innocent if she had no knowledge of him being with you. if he just cheated on you for no apparent reason and just wanted to get his jollies off, then he's scum. the same goes for the girl that he cheated with, if she knew about you and decided to be an accomplice, then she's no better than him. if you two grew apart, then he too should've broken things off. once you understand the reason behind things, i think it's safe to say you won't be repeating it again, because the lesson was learned and you don't need to take the course again.

has it ever crossed your mind that he TRUSTS you? from what i hear, a scorpio's wrath is not a sight to behold (and he's a double scorp with an aries moon, tempers flare like none other when they do). scorpios know more than they let on, and its usually their jealous rage and their suspicious nature that they're always trying to win over. i think when you care about a person, you want to let them fly and breathe, not lock them up or put an astronomical amount of restrictions on them. and i think our scorp understands this, at least give him the benefit of the doubt.

have you ever read more into the sign scorpio? scorpios are known to be associated with three animals. a serpent, a grey lizard, and an eagle. serpent is the lowest form, all that is dark and evil, obsessed with revenge, etc. the grey lizard is a fence sitter, or in the process of evolving. the eagle is the highest form where the individual is fully evolved and is no longer crawling on his belly, he's able to soar and reach great heights. that's why astrologers equate this sign as the strongest and most durable (yet also most misunderstood) because the native has the ability to rise against all odds and come out better and stronger...but only if they choose to do so. other signs can do this too, but not as quickly as a scorpio, the transition is more gradual. that's why this sign is also likened to that of a phoenix. their old self dies, turns into dust, and then rises again from their ashes as a stronger entity.

i think your scorp is one of the better ones, at least let's give him the benefit of the doubt 🙂.

006: "i seem to equate jealousy with insecurity. "

DB: "Jealousy is stemmed from insecurity, but to say someone has no insecurities is lying to themselves."

I agree with both of you, BUT I also think that jealousy is a relative concept. What many people 'coin' as jealousy is unsubstantiated jealousy. In this case, I believe it is capable for people to not be jealous. But, I also agree that when it comes down to a person you care deeply about that most, if not all, people would be jealous in a substantiated situation. Jealousy does not merely stem from insecurity, but from fear... In this case, fear of losing someone you care deeply about. Being faced with hard, cold, undeniable evidence, would anyone be able to not be jealous and not fear losing the person they truly care about?

Before continuing, the two of you may want to clarify which version of jealous you are referring to...

That's a lie to say scorpios are not jealous. Every scorpio is jealous to a certain extent depending on the person's maturity. When of my ex was watching a music video on mtv and the singer was so damn hot. I mean he was practically drooling over this bitch on t.v. I got so damn hot and turned the tv off, then we started fighting for the remote. (lol) What makes me jealous is when my guy gives another woman attention I should be getting. It's like I can't stand another person to have or try to take what I have. That sh*t will drive me nuts. Well I have experienced being with other people and it had taught me to not be so jealous. don't get me wrong I'm still jealous, but not to the extent where I used to be jealous. It's healthy to be jealous but not PSYCHO jealous. If my lover tries to make me jealous in my face, a scorpionic volcanto will be erupted!!!!!!!!!!!

"What makes me jealous is when my guy gives another woman attention I should be getting."

Ummmm, it was a person on a music video...

"It's like I can't stand another person to have or try to take what I have. "

That sound smore like you view the person you are with as some sort of possession or property than a person.

"That's a lie to say scorpios are not jealous."

Merely because you are jealous and a Scorpio doesn't mean that is true for all Scorpios.
