Hello People!!
A new Scorp in here!
Okay I am not sure if this has been dealt with earlier (Dint really check thru all the existing threads) But is it true with all the Scorps out there that they dont like accepting praises and compliments? I once read it somewhere and I agree with it atleast in my case.
Are there other scorps who feel the same on this??

normalisboring....trust me I have met some boring scorpios as well...some do exist..just as boring in any other sign does...But seriously I can talk about anything and everything at every given hour...Not an issue..and providing I am not in a mood about something (I can be real moody mare at times)
lol @ heal the world...Trust an Aqua to come out with "heal the world", (rolls eyes @ humanitarian attempt)
As for compliments, at times they can be an ice-breaker..and like I've said, we can tell the difference..if somebody feels uncomfortable around me, I would make sure I smile or will say something funny to loosen them up a bit...I am not that suspicious I have to say...I simply don't care enough to stew to be honest..
Caution when required but mostly chilled..
Shaks..you've changed.
I have to say though..most virgos I have come across thus far are quite shallow.

I'm okay with compliments when it's justified. I can become suspicious when it's overdone.
If they love you and you give them a compliment, that being a meaningful one, they'll glow from the inside. And it's so cute! It seems like before compliments would bounce off of them like insults. So i stopped giving them compliments. Once I was inside that certain level of closeness, it was actually like a crime that I wasn't acknowledging their virtues and attributes. Every human being likes to be praised and appreciated for what they're worth.
I agree with the sentiments here in that I am okay with complements when they are sincere and not when they are used only for flattery.
However, to add a new perspective to the mix, I generally dislike compliments because I always find them unnecessary and annoying. Usually when I get a comment, my immediate reaction - which I don't speak out loud - is, 'tell me something I don't know.' I don't know why that is. I know this sounds arrogant but I'm really not. I know I have my strong points but I also have my normal share of weaknesses. When someone compliments me on something that is blatantly obvious to me, which is usually the case, then I would think, 'duh, I knew that...you didn't have to tell me that...tell me something I don't know' I wonder if anyone here also feels the same?
Of course, I appreciate a sincere compliment on something that I am insecure about.
