So here's a funny story

..... have I ever mentioned how my brother left his wife, and ran off to another country to marry her best friend? I know I have. I used to teach night classes and would work stories about my brother into my curriculum for shits, giggles and therapy.

He stopped speaking to me about 6 years ago because I called his current wife manipulative.... when she was being manipulative. I was always civil to her but she was not a fan of me. My brother and I were pretty close back then or maybe it was because the day I met her, I asked my ex sister-in-law what was up with her friend and told her to watch her back.

Anyway this was all before I was into astrology. My two nieces from his first marriage contacted me a few months ago, so we’ve been reunited.

I’ve learned that over the last 6 years they were forbidden to talk to me and my name was not allowed to be mentioned. However, my nieces no longer talk to their father because his wife is insanely jealous of his relationship with them.

The oldest (Gemini) went to stay with bro+ wife for a year but the wife lost it and kicked her out after 6 months. The Gem had to go and stay with friends.

They belong to a gossipy elite group and word spread about her treatment of my niece, (oh lord the stories she was telling me) so they spontaneously decide to go on an extended vacation. They left my niece there, with their friends, while she’s supposed to be visiting them, in a country that’s foreign to her... and haven’t returned. That was 8 months ago, lol.

This has been slowly coming out over our last handful of visits. My youngest niece (Virgo) recently celebrated her 19th with me. We had a good time.

The other night we were reminiscing about it and I asked if they ever got their “Step Mom” presents for her birthday, in August.

That’s when they told me, “No shellshocker, our Mom’s birthday is in August. Step Mom’s is in November.”

jfc.

Seriously, I thought this chick was a Leo the whole time. Nope!

My brother is a Cancer and relocated to the US with his new bride. She is Greek.

My Gemini niece was having a hard time so she went to stay with her Dad. They left her in the States and went to Italy.

The Gem is in her 20's and eventually returned home, she made a good friend there. But yeah my brother and his wife are still in Italy.

Sadly scorps will go to any lengths to justify their emotional drives. Especially if they feel it's of soul level importance, like a soulmate or destined sort of purpose.

I'm so sorry about your nieces. It sounds like they are strong and resilient though. Glad they have people like you around to help lean on. As a daughter who was once abandoned by her father in favor of his affair partner, it can creep into all aspects of your psychology even when you logically know better. Thankfully I had great family around to help hold and build me back up.

Thanks Frost, unfortunately they both have a ton of mental and emotional issues. The Gemini has been diagnosed with Bipolar and Borderline Personality. She's an amazing artist though, her work is breathtaking.

When she came back I got her set up in a great program and she's doing better with therapy and off medication.

I've talked about this in another thread once, but my kids' father did the same thing with Baby Mamma number 3. I was BM number 2. lol He'd fathered one child when I met him. He's with BM number 3's best friend. I was like...ew ew ew. I don't understand how couples who are a result of one of them getting with the significant other's best friend can stand to look at each other. I would FEEL like a complete ass and wouldn't be able to shake that feeling. I'd also view our relationship as something that's just not even worth acknowledging. But these people (couples) prance around proudly. smdh My daughter told me a while back that his current girlfriend (the best friend) was pregnant...I've not asked her about their situation since. I didn't ask in the first place. My daughter was so disgusted that she voluntold the info.

I still love my dad. And we are actually exceptionally close now. He fell critically ill and my step mother left him in a messy divorce. He's a better human for it now and I'm a tougher gal. All of us are human and make mistakes, some are just more terrible and damaging than others. I feel happy that we've been able to reconcile with a lot of time left to share.

Not that it excuses anything. I do understand the turmoil shell's nieces must be experiencing. My situation has progressed to better circumstances, but I do remember the many different nights crying over the awful things my father said and did when he chose his then new wife over me and my sisters. That's why shell being so supportive and caring is so commendable. I'd have had worse nights without people like her in my life at those times.

A bit similar story with my taurus father and scorp stepmother. she was poison...but karma bites her in the ass everyday now and I get to witness her decline, she flutters around powerless, barely keeping it together as she takes care of my aging dad. So much sadness surrounds her now.....Selfish and Vindictive she was when we were children, such a terror to live with.She wanted a father for her kids...they never amounted to anything though, lol. She tried countless times to sacrifice my virgo sister and I for her own children.

My sister HATES her and would rather live in shit than have anything to do with the scorp. She was a terrible example but my dad was a provider and always made sure that we always had what we needed, but was absent emotionally and allowed the scorp to torment us by always trying to exclude us and his family from our fathers life. He was always working and left the running of the household and family matters to her and she made a mess of it. She pampered her family members and paid little to no attention to his side of the family. So much senseless bad blood....and now she's sad....GOOD.
