Thank you for asking about The Twins! I'll try to keep this short...

First of all, for small fries, they are very ACTIVE! I feel bad for Debra, because she's home with them all day... I try to give her breaks, but being a Mom to these two is one hectic job! I have to remember to keep my tools up on my work bench, and we have locks on all the cabinets, and plugs in all the open outlets, and it still seems like they can find dangerous things to get into...

Physically, they're both still below the curve for children their age, but they're getting closer to the average line. Our Daughter has my Mom's round face, while our son's is longer and leaner. If our Daughter takes after Mom, she's gonna be a pretty young lady, and I'm gonna have to give her The Boy Speech early - Boys are Evil, Boys have Cooties, etc.

Debra gets after me for being too easy on them, but it's tough for Dads to be tough when they don't see the children as much, and I don't feel like fussing at them the whole time I'm with them...

When I'm home, they'll tag along after me, but our Daughter gets bored quicker, and will go off and do her own thing. Our Son is more interested in what Dad's up to, and he really likes to gum the rubber handle on one of my hammers! He has a toy tool set, but he seems to have figured out that mine are real, and will hold up his hands when I'm working...

We have a small creek in the back yard that has a shallow bank, and it's so funny to watch them squat, and splash the water with their little hands. I can't wait to show them how to catch crawdads and tadpoles; and, when they're old enough, we'll collect water samples, and study all the "invisible" critters under the microscope! Both of them like to dig in the dirt, which is fine except for those parts of the shrub beds that the cats use to bury their tootsie-rolls!

Our dogs still don't know what to make of these newest "pack" members: Our terriers avoids them when they can, but the golden retriever follows them around like a mother hen. We always know where The Twins are outside by looking for his big tail!

They've also had an effect on my original Scorpio Daughter: She's now saying that she wants to have several children herself, so we may be up to our necks in grandchildren in another few years...

It's amazing to see the changes two tiny Scorps can make in lives of so many Big People...
