Superwoman

I don't know if my fellow scorps (real scorps, not wannabe scorps) feel this or not but recently I have come to learn that I am totally on the mark when it comes to sussing people out. I always knew this but I chose to ignore it..Just to see if I could prove myself wrong..lol..and I can't!

Just like Superman walks into a room and can detect Kryptonite miles away and has this pang of pain in his chest, I get the exact same reaction when I walk into a room of superficial personalities...I can detect fake a mile off and it really makes me sick..I have to get out of that room..I hate it sooo much..I have tried on numerous occasions to just let it be...but i just cannot..no matter how hard I try...so I am just not going to try anymore..

I wish sometimes we didn't detect superficial so quickly, I feel real people only have a very small number of decent friends...superficial people have hords of them...I guess kissing anothers arse comes naturally to some..

So maybe this is the superpower we have been granted with, along with many others (sorry Shaks, I know you are going to roll your eyes at the self love..lol)..At times, it really pisses me off but other times I am thankful for it. At least the people I have in my life are real..

Feel free to share your thoughts..only real scorpios though, there are some in here who try too hard to be one!

Well i think all people can feel this i know i do its not extream as pure pain like ur saying.. it more like uneasy feeling sum thing i can live with.. im nice to them but im not close to them. i must admit i have seen this in scorpio women could explain the bitch attitude for no reason when they walk into a room to sum one they don't know.. i know it hurts but i would not be rude unless they were to me not saying ur rude.. o lol with the fake scorpio i see it im glad a scorpio could see it to lol.

While I do believe that all people have this gift, I also believe that Scorpios are deeply intuitive. Call it intuition, call it e.s.p... The big challenge is not to deny it and not to over-interpret. As a double Scorpio, for me it's a delicate balance--to trust my senses while not assuming that I know the origins or how it will all turn out.

I went to a Lual on Saturday and when I walked in the backyard I went striaght to the bar... sat my case of Henny in the cooler, got one and went to say hello to my sister and a few other people that I know that are real, which is the reason why I went to speak. I notice a few people that I have meet but was not moved to speak to them right away... beause of the vibe I got from them from our first encounter.

There was a couple there the guy was a scorpio and his girl was an Aries.... my sister spoke to them and then called me to speak, I saw them when I first got to the lual, I had no intentions on speaking becase when I first met the couple I sense that the girl was a bit insecure, and refuse to feed into her insecurities nor did I give her any inclination that I was after her man but the vibe was not right so I was not going to speak. Well I walked over gave them both a hug gave the scrop guy a hug and said to him "Hello my scropio friend" so then I said how are yall doing... so the scrop guys says to me I have not seen you since the last party...we had a good ass time... so I say yea it was nice, so his girl said it was nice... then him and started saying some stuff about the other scrop guy that was there and how funny we 3 were, I hear his girl saying well it was nice talking to you...she said that twice..so I was like to myself saying is she serious? is she trying to get rid of me? I was just surprised that she kept pushing me away and her man was doing all the talking... go fucking figure... So I just said to them have a good evening nice seeing you again and walked away.

I wanted to say "HELLO!!!!!! I DON'T WANT YOUR MAN"

Yes I know what you mean. I can't stand superficiality, fakeness. I feel that I detect this very easily and am not good at playing along. I don't waste my time. I love genuine, real people.

Yep Isabelscorpio...it's this playing along business that pisses me off...I just won't do it..my breath is precious and it's not to be wasted on a low life like you!..I wonder what goes through the minds of people who do go along with it:

MM... LOL this thread is priceless. I completely feel you. It can be a off putting quality to have but I think it's more of a blessing then a curse in the long run. It's all about quality not quanity when it comes to the people I have around me.

I also agree with what DY is saying. I'm SO quick to judge a person I find myself second guessing myself. I can tell within seconds of talking to a person face to face if I'm going to like them or if they are fake. Even to me that doesn't seem possible or even logical but mostly I'm right. 😛 I will keep my opinion to myself and usually just avoid those types that rub me the wrong way.

Fakeness is NOT that hard to spot at all. They tend to be very transparent people... little do they know. lol It can sometimes be very amusing to watch them work... sometimes, depending on my mood, it can be quite gag worthy.

You are right of course..I don't know about majority of the scorpios and I guess it is true for them too, but mostly the people we do have in our life will be beneficial to us in some way...we can gain something from them so we are incredibly selective...So, if they don't serve a purpose then logically we shouldn't care..oh but it's so hard to ignore cos I get an OVERWHELMING urge to tell them what I think of them..Arrrgh!..

Although this trait is common in Scorpio women, oh boy have I come across some superficial scorpio women as well..they usually have libra somewhere in their chart I have come to find..

I don't know if you can consider me as a real scorpio (not that it matters to me) but i would like to write few words to your thread. 🙂

I am a loner. Even if i am surrounded by tons of people, i am alone. Solitude and me we are two best, very close friends. I don't complain about that though, don't get me wrong. It's better for me in that way. People have many colorless or colorfull images in their mind about me that they think it would be suitable for me best. They want to see me as they wish me to be. Sometimes i am considered as best, the next time i am considered as priceless. When people achieve what they look after in a relationship (friends,lovers, work partners etc) there is no more serving for their desire and so they throw away like a piece of chocolate bar trash. Regardless of signs, all humans have egoistical nature.( Sorry, i know it's off the topic but i feel the need to express.)

Anyway, back to your topic...
I think, not only scorpios but other signs are able to spot the fakeness as well. I hate fakeness. I guess one reason for me is fakeness in humans that makes me to stay away. I would rather be by my own than having people who will be strangers to me for my entire life. I don't like any kind of talk, eye contact or even to be in same place with people. Fake ones, liar ones, thief ones, murderer ones, hatefull ones, unforgiving ones, money-centered ones, jealous ones... etc. No thanks, i was born alone and will probably die alone. Perfection in humans is inexistent. Uniqeness, greatness, clean soul,mind and body matters to me. I don't care of destructive monkeys who destroy each other and their habitat.

My personal opinion is that some signs that are actually meant to be deep are very superficial...I think a lot of individuals are superficial out of choice...because they are too scared to upset anyone by interjecting their own opinion or god forbid having their own mind....they will just go along with the herd and do what makes them look good in the eyes of others..so I don't believe they have a keen insight into the psyche of another individual. It really I guess depend on the person as well as astrology.

PP that's some pretty good advice. It is best to let those types to their own little made up world but it's SO hard to keep quiet about it sometimes. I find fakeness to be an arrogant trait. They have that whole "hehehe I'm totally fooling people" air about them. That's when I want to speak up and tell them "Nope, sorry, you aren't fooling me". But I usually just roll my eyes and write them off as loonies that I'll never be able to take seriously. It's just really annoying if anything.

LOL at the "sheer horror". I'm sure I get the same look because I HATE to be touched. Hugging is just simply not needed for me. A back slap or a nod of the head is good enough. I actually duck out of hugs, shrug them off or stand there with my arms slack and my butt and feet as far as possible from a person attempting a hug. LOL After the whole display is over I usually feel violated. lol I'm so weird.


I've been known to high five my Aries alot. It cracks him up. "Most girls will hug, kiss or cuddle". Not me bucko!! He likes it when I drink because I become a little more affectionate as well. But I try to stay away from that stuff just for that reason. I always wake up the next day mortified that I was being so touchy feely. 😛

Depending on what mood I'm in I usually stir crap up with fake people.

If it's someone new I've never met it's usually just a knowing look, like,"I know your fake".

If it's someone I've been around before and they are going on and on about something then I make a smart ass comment and smile and walk away.

But then again some people never grow out of it..Like me..I can be incredibly selfish...as long as I am happy that's all that matters...however, there are limits...you will learn...

I have an aqua male friend..very close may I add...He's a bit like you ^^. He can detect fake as well but it doesn't deter him. I don't know, I sometimes think its more to do with the fact that Aquas cannot bear to be alone that they just keep all rubbish they meet in their wider circle..Are they ever that close to anyone? I don't think so...I think their idea of close is a collection of all personalities....but I guess there is some selfishness in there somewhere..Whereas you guys keep people who may come in useful later, we choose our friends on the basis that we can gain something from them...maybe not in a material sense but definitely in the knowledge sense..

Not sure if that makes sense..I seem to have a lot of aqua friends actually..not sure why that is...I like their quirkiness...some of them..not all..some can talk for america jeez! Would give a gemini a run for their money

Or, in my case, the fact that aquas don't like to be alone (I can't THINK around people so I disappear A LOT). You gain from these superficial relationships knowledge and contacts. Knowledge about others that could come in handy, knowledge about yourself and knowledge about human nature. Contacts as in, well, through people you meet other people. Gotta go through the bad to find the good. That sort of thing.

In my experience I only ever bond with aries people and other aquas. Aries 'cos they're straight to the point and honest and other aquas because there's just that attraction and that illusion of finding an equal ... And, immediate understanding. Can't speak for other aquas out there but those are the two signs I immediately feel I can get close to.

You see that's the end for us..Superficial are likely to befriend alike. So if we don't like superficial we won't like any of it's connections. Say for example a sagi friend I used to have..her other friends were also superficial so for me, rather than give myself jaw ache from trying to smile unnecessarily just to keep the peace, I sat through single meetings..realised that everything that came out of their mouth was of absolutely no value..so to the rubbish dump they go..what possible knowledge can I gain from that? I am intrigued however, what knowledge about others could come in handy to aquas if they are regarded as superficial and therefore in your wider circle? I feel Aquas can't be horrible to anyone. They don't like their image ruined. They are to be seen as these absolutely lovely wonderful creatures. The two aqua friends that are close to me, I learn a lot about them from speaking to them..sometimes everyday! They are indifferent but so are scorpios in all honesty.

But to each their own..not all can be the same (if they were, the world would be a boring place) and it's interesting to know how human beings function and overcome different obstacles/situations. Aquas will go through many people to find the good, but they will take the bad and ugly with them..we can just spot them and don't need them..

Noooo way...at times, I really wish it wasn't so but if I am going to give that much, I expect the same value returned..you don't get something for nothing in this day and age...if we don't find perfection (yes I know it doesn't exist), we get through fine on our own....well that is the real scorpios, not the superficial ones...and boy do you get a lot of those fucked up types as well who constantly need people around them to function.

The signs (that instantly come to mind) I have noticed have this innate desire to please people around them or be approved by them:

Cancer - (moreso the women, not the man)
Sometimes Aries (again, moreso the women)
Pisces
Sagittarius

I really don't have aqua down as a superficial sign...although they may detect fake and still keep acquaintance, I have observed Aqua in social situations, and they are just friendly but they don't overdo it...if someone says hi, they will say hi back and crack a joke, if someone says something out of turn, they will make their point through humour and move onto the next project...They don't give each individual in the group enough "me time" to warrant caring if that person is fake..as that person is just merely a passing moment.

Because it's my pet hate..no I didn't dump my leo because he was fat..LOL..he couldn't be fat if he tried...no I dumped him cos I didn't love him anymore..which is a good enough reason as any.

Oh I totally hear you..I am not disputing what you say at all cos I agree...that's why in my posts you will see I do have quite a few inner struggles..I am not superhuman, and I do get it wrong sometimes..I don't claim to know everything..but I do get it right mostly 🙂 and you are right, I can be perceived as the ice queen..so maybe people don't want to put in the time to get to know me..Argh!.

I just have a strong sense of wrong and right..black/white..no room for grey..however, I know the world these days is full of greys..so there has to be some room for tolerance..that's the problem tolerance and control..

I have been called frigid at times..at first I thought it's something do with sex..lol..but later came to realise it means "lacking warmth"...yes I am guilty of that I must admit..only a few get it...
