How do you know if you're just overreacting? How do you know if you're right or wrong?
I follow mine and I'm usually always right. It's not something I like to ignore.
History.
Oh... didn't realize it was Scorp forum.
I wish I followed mine more. I regret not listening to it during my last romantic encounter. SERIOUSLY regret not listening to it. Working on getting better at listening to it from now on.
Its the initial feeling I run with more so the nagging feeling. But I seem to have better odds with initial feeling.

I didn't either...
I'm still learning to listen to mine. When I don't, I regret it.
I can't even answer this as I ask myself this question all the time. But it's nice to see others responses

I get a nagging sometimes bad pain in the gut. I never ignore it. Sometimes it's a slight butterfly feel, and I will feel things out further and then that poke in the gut starts up eventually. If it's just meeting or watching new people and feeling it out...I don't get anything, I instantly sense & know their soul. Sometimes it's annoying, most times it's a blessing.

I have learned through meditation and *going within* that i am shown situation and people more clearly. I can usually tell when someone is *off* or not
The more time you take to be connected with yourself, the more you will be able to intuit this

I'm connected with myself, but I don't want to see or recognize certain things. If it's something that I know that's going to hurt me, I usually tend to think I'm overreacting. Sometimes people's reactions makes me thing that I'm wrong when I read into things. This guy came to me and said how do you do that? You're right 98% of the time. I just don't like the feelings sometimes.
Think that*
I don't ignore mine because when I do, I was usually right about the situation. I don't think it's a super power or anything but I definitely trust that gut instinct. I can easily discern situations.

As soon as you start questioning that initial feeling that usually comes in a form of "knowing" for some, or gut feeling as they call it, that's when you are going in the wrong direction. When it's intuition, you never have to "convince" yourself of whatever that answer/hunch/feeling is, because it's the "truth." When you start to play with all kinds of scenarios in your head, analyzing it, justifying why you should or shouldn't do something, that's when your mind/ego talking, because it is afraid and its job to self-preserve, defend and protect for its own survival. It serves its practical purpose in life in a lot of situations, but ultimately does not have your soul's best interest at hand.
Intuition feels lighter than thought. Both are energies, but intuitive energy will never feel heavy, it's a glimpse into what is true, that's why it's often easy for a lot of people to miss it in the first place, especially if they are not in tune with themselves or are in the state of awareness. Especially, if you are not familiar with what type of intuition is your predominant, as there are 5 forms, I believe. Some can see, hear, feel in the abdomen or even smell certain things in their "mind's eye" others just "know." Pay attention to what sensations you are experiencing when you are receiving a message, and once you do it enough times and just trust that it's correct, you will develop it and it will be easier for you follow it each time that happens.
I tend to not always follow my intuition, mainly because I tend to think it's just my anxiety causing me to be paranoid. Yet I just through a terrible breakup and I wish I would have listened to what my intuition was trying to tell me. I knew that something wasn't right with my relationship because I kept having these thoughts in the back of my mind. A month before we broke up, I started having bad dreams every night and now I know they were truly trying to tell me something. Now I plan on being better at trusting it. I have often read that Scorpios have a sort of sixth sense and maybe that is true. We should use this gift that we've been given.

Yes, it's definitely a gift. It's a blessing if we use it the correct way. It can be a curse, also. My intuition is so strong that my friend says that " I don't like anybody." That's not true. I value honesty and respect to the highest. I'm a little critical when it comes to people, but I'm realizing that it's wrong for me to be like that. I'm only critical when I feel like someone is being a hypocrite. My intuition helps me see people for what they are. When I speak to them about lying to me or the things that they've done/doing, things usually goes south and they don't speak to me anymore, but oh well. I'm learning to just respect my intuition and deal with the consequences.
Agreed it definitely is a blessing and a curse. I am the exact same way. I try to stay open minded about others though, because my first impressions of others have often been wrong. I tend to always have my guard up just in case. Maybe it's a Scorpio thing, but I cannot always trust others. My trust doesn't come easy and it must be earned. That's just what happens when you've had too many bridges burned. I think other people misjudge us and think that we come off cold. Yet we just seem to be able to see things outside of just the surface level. And that is a good trait to have I believe. It helps us know who is superficial and who actually has real depth to them.

Does that make sense? I feel like I got a bit carried away there... Haha.
My intuition is always right about that as well. Even when I wish it wasn't, but it's good to know sooner than later.
When my intuition is active I don't talk. I Keep it for myself and I prepare. I know the war is coming.
so...Armour yourself with those wisdom and let the opponent attack.
You know when you are wounded - that means you don't prepare for it and your intuition was right.
and you know when your intuition is wrong when there's none and you are overacting on it... but wait.. hang in there give a second look
just prepare, it was just a signal. It is about to happen. Your intuition is right. Keep listening to that, only for those who have a healthy mind not
paranoid. lol
