i haven't gotten a true handle on what compliments me because i am trying to handle just having this placement...lol!
my sun sign is sag...i don't think i need a venus in sag, lol! i attract loads of venus in virgos, but i would love to get my hands on this placement...hmmmm...

Because it makes u obsessive, jealous and desiring complete commitment which is hard to find.
It's a GREAT placement for the person's lovers...they get all the love. But the affected person themselves usually has to accept that they're not going to get that in return. They are always the one more invested in the relationship.

I have said this once and will say it again. If i am into someone... EVERYONE AND EVERYTHING gets blocked out mentally and physically. my attention is only directed to that one person. There is no more 2nd guessing myself.. if i like them.. I will boarder line be obsessed (which is why it is such a hard placement to control). I still have no idea how to control this other than just isolating myself sometimes from people, sounds emo, but it's true.
On the plus side yes.. the other party will feel completely loved and cherished. Feelings likely won't be mutual though.
Not trying to make this about myself - just giving personal experience.

of the top, cancers and sagittarians are not compatible. at all. initially, yes...but it will come out. cancers are introverts and homebodies and will retreat and avoid confrontation. they are the type that wouldn't mind going to bed angry and holding a grudge. they have secrets and will hold on to something or someone longer than they should. this is everything a sagittarius is not. mind you, all of this is on a general scale.
my mars being in libra makes me only attracted to classy, well-rounded and -adjusted men that don't do drama. my venus in scorpio makes it all about the business of love and sex. this is probably why venus in virgos are always attracted to me. but they can never hang on. they love to try to be that classy, well-adjusted and well-rounded guy that is only about serious loving, but they don't have it as honestly as i and they fall the fuck off...everytime. and, the thing is, i don't have to tell them they are falling off, they already know. i just tell them so when i step out on the relationship, they cannot say i didn't warn them. i find most venus in virgo want the tidy and pristine mate, on the outside. nothing wrong with that. but a venus in scorpio wants you to LIVE it, not just show it...whatever "it" is. a cancer with a venus in virgo would be more concerned with how well our relationship looks to the observer while a sagittarius with a venus in scorpio would be tormented to find that the appearance is just that, and not true. that cancer would be horrified to be embarrased. the sagittarius would not be able to find one fuck to give about being embarrased, for the proper cause. the cancer would not mind a white lie to save the relatinship. the sagittarius would be horrified to find ANY lies, big or small, in the relationship.

Simple. No one. My Venus in Scorpio is too intense for everybody. I'm either 100% in or a 100% out.
However, when I'm in, I'm way too intense, it's scary.
