hello--not sure if i'm posting this in the right place (i just joined yesterday).

and i don't mean to rant and waste other people's time...but i just wonder about my venus scorpio sometimes (and wonder if it's the same for others).

i have such terribly high standards in many areas in life (due to a virgo sun? LOL)...and in the relationships department, my mainly one-sided & from-a-distance "affairs" have mostly resulted in absolute failure...which i don't really mind all that much, in the sense that it's the experience that counts.

however i'm just wondering whether i'll EVER experience a "successful relationship". i've always been single. i look around and people seem to get together with other people all the time. it's quite annoying for me at points (aries rising/libra descendant).

MAN!!!!

I'm an aries rising w/ scorp in venus. I have had what I consider to be "successful relationships" but I'm a cap, so wasting time is not my forte. I too look at every relationship as an experience, good or bad, but at the least, a time for emotional growth and development. The aries in me is very forward and tells it like it is which of course gets me into trouble. The venus in scorp is full force when it comes to objects of affection. I get really into love and I love being in love so much that I sometimes throw caution to the wind which contradicts the cap sun. Funny thing is, I have never been dumped, I usually leave the relationship for one reason or another (I'm picky too), usually when my "love tank" goes empty.

Don't analyse the bejeezus out of a relationship, just go into it lighthearted and enjoy the time...perhaps it will materialise into something.

One thing I cannot stand about earth signs..the fact that they take about 5 years trying to figure out the person...I have an idea..why not just date them and find out that way?!...not everyone is out to get you guys...don't you think we have better things to do with our times then trying to figure out your insecure ass?!

Sorry had to get that out there..

lol..I am fine now..

> warholian -- i've a mars cap/virgo sun (so i think those two don't like to "waste time" either =P)...and yes the aries gets me into trouble too. usually i'm the one making the first move, which i've said i wouldn't do in the past, but oh well. it might have helped if i knew i was a venus scorp when i was 15 (first time fell in love). man, that first one was zee most complicated thing ever. spot on with the "full force" thing, y'know. haha.

> missmorals -- analysing to me is like breathing (+ libra merc). lol! so yeah, it practically is close to impossible to get into a relationship lightheartedly. it's always way intense, blahx3, but i do get the point.

to be honest i've found myself getting irritated with earth signs myself, sometimes. but yeah. personally i like having a certain amount of security in things...so maybe that's the reason behind taking "5 years to figure out a person/something".

ps: the libra merc makes one go round in circles. that too is something very annoying at times =P!

It IS simple!...you bloody caps just complicate things all the time!! If you didn't think too much we could have a fabulous relationship...

My cap friend of 4 years whom I really had this deeeeep connection with, and unfortunately it never materialised cos the stupid idiot apparantly doesn't see more any more than a friend (although always asks if I am dating someone or whether I would spend a weekend with him..idiot) sent me a text last night "When you gt married and you do the typical thing of not inviting me to your wedding cos I am a guy friend and your supposed husband doesn't approve, I tell you I am gonna hate you forever....Oh hi by the way hope you are well"...so I replied back with "I take it you are having a moment"....and then he calls....we just have this unspoken bond but I know it is probably just not meant to be...

One cap I went to drink some exotic tea with aaaaaaaage ago (his dad was a tea merchant)...footballers legs **wow what legs** but sadly i wasn't attracted to him....perhaps if I spent more time with him I might have been because he was such a great guy, but at the time I actually fancied his best friend (Pisces..YUCK)..that obviously didn't sit well..He disappeared into thin ice 😢
