I prefer Western but I've had my Vedic done because I was curious.

They essentially are the same, just read in a different manner.

Things are switched around a bit but the actually readings of your placements are similar.

I also did mine and my boyfriend's vedic but both are quite different from western

His Placements according to

Western Astrology
Sun: Capricorn
Moon: Scorpio
Ascendant : Sagittarius

Vedic Astrology
Sun : Sagittarius
Moon : Libra
Ascendant : Scorpio

Wondering which one is accurate

Vedic is proven to be more complex and accurate tbh but i haven't gotten into it because no one on this fourm is really into it.

i'm with you. maybe someday i'd like to focus on vedic but i can't focus on more than one hobby at a time. i hate to be too scattered. it already takes me forever to get tropical, sidereal. ugh. then they got different chart platforms. double ugh.

According to western astrology my
Sun : Aries
Moon, Ascendent, Saturn : Capricorn
Mercury : Aries
Venus and Mars : Aquarius

And according to vedic Astrology
Sun and mercury : Pisces
Moon, Ascendent, Venus, Mars, saturn, Rahu : All in Capricorn lol

I can relate to these capricorn placements in vedic chart as their are many capricorns in my western chart as well but i don't agree with the vedic chart that i don't have any fire. I feel like my mercury is in aries i really do not think before speaking and regret it later. Also i get angry very fast so i can relate to this to my fire dominant western natal chart.
