Passion for our Loves and Passion for our Hates.

We have passion for what is ours.

So if we love it then we'll give our whole lives to it (which is more than other signs tend to give - that's the difference - Scorpios are all-or-nothing.)

And we own our hates and our pains with a passion too, which is the biggest motivator in our will to succeed. We make our wounds, and even our smallest peeves and frustrations, a part of who we are, and so as it so happens, when we succeed, our pains and hurts usually go away as a result. Scorpio is the sign of Relief.

Scorpios are just controllers in that regard, as opposed to the opposite sign, Taurus, who kind of trusts in the natural way that things happen - Scorpio says either I give it my all and I live to the fullest, or I give it my all and I die with it all on the battlefield.

"A man who dies rich dies disgraced."

DB and Elliott, I could listen to you two all day and not get bored! 🙂

My biggest strength is remembering being told as a child and teen that I wouldn't amount to anything in life. I had a cruel stepmother that really disliked me and she verbally abused me. When I took off for Vegas at the age of 17 I didn't look back. Even to this day if somebody tells me I can't....You bet your sweet ass I WILL!!! That is my biggest revenge is to succeed when someone has told me I can't. When I feel like giving up, I think of things she had said to me at one point or time and that makes me try harder. I consider this my biggest strength mentally and emotionally.

Is that a Scorpio trait or somebody mentally screwed up?

"I think we have to draw strength from all areas of life. I don't like weak people. If a person goes through life relying on others totally turns me off. It also gives me more strength. Because I don't want to be like them."

It is true that weak people are should not be respected. But (a big big but) if we will take the situation as an isolated case and do not take all the other effecting parts of human experiences over that specific person and only make a moral judgement, we all will be WRONG.

When I say weak I don't mean mentally challenged or the elderly. Being a woman, I know alot of other woman that will not get a job, because their man takes care of them. But then they cry to ME when their men will not hand over the credit card so they can go shop and buy the new jeans out this season.
When I say weak, I am talking about men that refuse to learn how to change a tire because that is what they pay AAA for.
When I say weak, I am talking about people we all work with who know why the company sucks, but when it comes to telling the boss they all back out. AND KISS HIS ASS!
Weak is having knowledge, but not using it. Weak is not knowing the answers and not caring to find out. Weak is letting someone else take care of you when you can take care of yourself. Weak is not finding the strength to better yourself. So what about finding a "how-to" book? If it helps and we learn from it, that's what it is there for.
Many men think they have or know the answers and we should just let them help us. Well I want to have all the answers. So I guess that weakness makes me stronger. I don't like to feel weak and when I do, I strive to make myself stronger.

The stregnth of a scorpio comes from their refusing to be affraid

That may be what an astrologer would say. But do you believe it? I know that I am afraid of things. But on a different level than others. I laugh at people who are terrified of bugs and snakes. I'll pick up a cockroach and carry it outside just to hear the other girls squeal and watch them run. I don't like insects or snakes, but I am not afraid of them.

But then there also times of crisis. I was robbed at gun point when I worked at a bank. I was afraid for my daughter because I did not want her to be alone if I was killed. I did not think of myself. I did not have the time to raise her to be a strong independent woman. Well, I didn't die. Good thing.

But when people are injured or hurt, instead of freaking out I have an instinct inside to put fear aside and take control. When I was 13 I was riding the bus home from school and I saw my best friend get hit by a car. She was riding her bike and went out into the intersection without looking. I remember her poor broken body laying in the street and my only instinct was to get out and help her. Of course by law the bus driver would not let me off. But I did not feel fear. Only the need to help. Unfortunately she did not make it.

It's events like that which SHOULD make a person stronger. Not weaker. Not afraid. That's all I have to say about that.
