What to do next.. with Scorpio!

I met this Scorpio guy couple of months ago, whom from the first day he kept on telling me that he finds me gorgeous and can't keep his mind off me. Need to note that I met him in a wrok-related lunch. I brushed him off for a while but he kept on messaging me for 3 months until I started giving him more attention and started messaging him back.
He gave the impression that he is very interested in me and kept on saying that he likes me. However, we do live in different states (Me in NY and him in TX) but I do travel a lot to TX. He kept on telling me how unique and original I am and that he finds me super hot. I do have a strong personality and usually I dont fall for those compliments but something about his insistence and his very clever personality made me start falling. But still, I never was looking for a relationship with him, just wanted it to be a fun experience, great friends with benefit kind of thing. Here is the catch, I do want us to be friends too.. not just have sex.
We had sex yesterday for the first time, and needless to say it was amazing. However, i haven't heard from him afterwards, and not sure how to proceed. As I will be in TX in a week, and would love to see him, but a voice inside of me is telling me to not confirm plans with him as he is scared of committing, or he may take it as a sign that I want something further.
I really like this guy, but while I figure out what do I want with him, I dont want to lose him, how can I make sure he likes me too? and how can I play it right with him ?

Well all he had to do was message you. Apparently the messaged "compliments" worked and you screwed him not knowing the rules of FWB. It's not a matter of how you can play it right, he played you. Do some research on FWB, most women think they can handle it but they can't. Number one rule of FWB..you don't get to ask questions, and you don't get to blame the guy when you figure out you can't handle it.
