....if we didn't constantly try to control every moment, and obsess over things?
I know where I would be. 100 times more creative and productive and wealthy!
I have worked my whole life to tear down my controlling mechanism which surfaces at the oddest moments. It is all about fear -- and all fear needs to be replaced with a new thought.
I've written a few pieces of music that's been published, and a few workbooks for kids. Yet I know that if I lived more in the moment, stopped being so damn serious, and let my whimsy take me, that I could be 1000 times more creative.

I agree with all of you .....
Eagle .. "It is all about fear -- and all fear needs to be replaced with a new thought.
Roxi .. "i think that's the perfectionist in us"
Pluto .. "its the fear of failure"
.. to me, the problem with this lies within the fact that most people do things for others approval and acceptance. If you fear something because it isn't perfect enough and so you might fail at it .. what does that mean?
You will fail somebody else because you expect to be measured for this acheivement within their eyes?
If it's from within you, and it moves you ... how can it not be good enough? Yet, this is how it's felt .. "fear" that someone ELSE won't valuate it good enough for you to find it good enough for yourself.
How can we possibly expect acceptance from another person if we don't think it's good enough for ourselves?
