Why did this emotionally abusive Scorpio break up with me but kept my DOG—

Since breaking up with me and throwing me out of his house ..he has texted several times saying some UGLY things but I did not responded to a single text because I am literally crushed!!! He literally threw me outside and snatched my dog inside the house while locking me completely out!!! Then a week later , he sends me pics of my dog looking sad. And then another week after that he sends me a pic of my dog looking sad again. And then sent me a link to a GPS tracker app (in hopes I'd click on it I guess).
What does this all mean? I'm out of town right now so I can't get my dog yet but I don't like confrontation either and picking her up means I will have to face him.

PLEASE HELP!!!

My best friend keeps reassuring me that he will never harm my dog and for me not to worry. She says he's only sending those pics because he misses me and cannot form the words to express it...smdh!! I just don't know what's going on!! I'm soooo hurt right now.

Please tell me that your dog is microchipped with only your name as the registered owner. Both of mine are and if a man EVER dognapped my pups, I'd wreck so much havoc on his life that he would end up rocking back in forth butt naked under a stream of ice cold water. What's mine is MINE. OMG...my dogs are toy sized and were stolen directly out of my yard two weeks after moving into this new house....where I live now. I craigslisted and FaceBooked the shit out of the situation. I ended up having to pay $ 250, but recovered both of my dogs. I was adamant. I even got on my knees crying and prayed for like an hour at 6am. I do not take losses at another's hands very well.

If your pup isn't microchipped, please consider it when you get him/her back. If he's that damn selfish and ugly, he's not going to want to take care of a pet long term.

Without anybody here knowing the whole situation ..... From this point he sounds quite possibly like a maniplative control freak, possibly needs to learn how to get better control of his self.

You say you don't like confrontation, if you are the dog owner and can PROVE it... (micro-chip & vet records) bring a cop with you. That's all you'll need. However, my guess is, you both will terrorize the dog more with drama. smh

IF you have proof that the dog is yours (registration papers, adoption papers, etc) take this matter to the police and have a cop go with you to get the dog back. She's not microchipped as of yet. However I have all of her paperwork showing that I am her rightful owner.

Everything I've mentioned is the absolute TRUTH! I've been with this man for 4 years and have been trying to figure him out from day one. Everytime I google Scorpio traits it always says they are manipulative, controlling, secretive, horrible tempers, ....yada yada yada! So I figured it's just his personality and he couldn't help it.

I'm going crazy without my dog! However, I figured I'd go out of town for a while because I don't know anyone in his city. My dog isn't that crazy about him but she knows him and at least has a roof over her head while I figure things out.

I did leave! But I also kept making excuses for his behavior...maybe he's stressed, his job, he's depressed, etc.... We kept making up and I'd fall in love with him all over again! LOve will make u do some CRAZZZY things thats all I have to say.

I know you've had a shitty experience, but not ALL Scorp men are like that. 😢 I've also had my fair share of negative interactions with Scorp energy. My kids' father was an abusive Taurus sun/Scorp moon. Still is til this day. His mom says that he doesn't hit women anymore, but the last interaction I had with him after NOT seeing him for 13 years, he threatened to kick my ass...get this...because I didn't make it a point to try to spend 1:1 time with him. Thirteen damn years AFTER a break up and he really expected me to put all of my other plans to the side to try to spend time with him...and he lives with his girlfriend in her low income housing with her two kids. I was like...you've got to be kidding me. I just deflected him and refused to let him upset me. Then he calls me when I'm boarding the plane to say he's sorry and he still loves me and he only wants the best for me...blah blah blah. I just said, "Um hm...I understand...take care." I don't get into his emo delusional weirdness. When he was screaming at me over the phone, I was with his cousins ordering something to eat. I said to him...lol...while he's screaming his head off...I was like, "Hold on for a minute, I need to order my food." The food clerks mouth was hanging open and he was like, "You are not even worried about whoever it is that is screaming on the other end of that phone." I said, "Nope! Can I please get...." His cousins were telling em to hang up the phone and I told them that

...he was just going to keep calling back so I let him finally run out of steam with one last threat to come to his cousins house and kick my ass. I was like, "Ok. See you when and or if you get there. Bye". His cousin was like, "What are you going to do if he comes over." I said, "Sit here and keep talking to you like I've been doing. I'm not worried about that man."

Abusers suck. I mean....they suck monkey balls and snail nuts...even the ones here who madly go in on people that they don't even know as if they're personally affected by someone's situation....GTFOH.

Oh, sorry, I didn't realize that your living situation was up in the air at the moment. But just knowing myself personally, my dog gets me through everything. And there is NO WAY IN HELL i'd let someone who did that to me hold on to my dog for more than a fkn minute. I need my dog more then ever when faced with a hard situation. Also he was fired from his job 2 months ago after being there for almost 20 years!! Now he blames everyone but himself for getting him fired. It hurts me to be without my dog but like I said he wouldn't let me in and I had to leave so I figured she'd be ok but I know she's not. I miss her. He texted me pics of her to let me know she's alright I guess.

Oh, you're not the only one. There are regularly shitty dpx users who do this shit to all new comers and any one who they think they're superior to. It's not just you. You can actually click on a users profile and see how they comment on the other threads. Same shit, different day. I'm just calling them out on it and finally speaking up about the passive support that they receive, which keeps it going. That shit isn't cute.

I would send some friend to his house, and he wouldve wished he never met me lol!! taking the dog and sending pics..kicking out and etc is just way overboard..he would've been taught a very interesting lesson that he would've never forgotten... 🙂

If your friend was A REAL friend, she’d go over and get your dog so you don’t have to face this man especially since you “don’t like confrontation” then save yourself a trip and ask her to get the dog for you.

Him sending you photos of the dog could mean one of two things.
1.He’s planning to harm the dog if you don’t stop the silent treatment or
2.It’s his way of saying you gotta come home sometime because “hey! I got your pup!”

My guess is it’s number 2 because number 1 is very spooky. He’s doing it to remind you that you cant escape him because he has something of value to you and he know’s it, he’s throwing it in your face because your ignoring him. Which ignoring him may not be the best tactic right now, I’ve heard it only pisses a scorp off even more if they are in obsession mode. I would’ve kept my cool at least until I got my dog, then I’d tell him to go to hell.

OP, you're completely ignoring any posts that have to do with WHAT you can do, legally, to get your dog back, and the fact that you've stayed with an abusive man. You know what you can do about this situation, so it's up to you to get the balls to do it. If you don't you're allowing it.

@AquariusGold -- you being kicked out is a blessing for you tbh. You should've ran a loooong time ago Now you need to get that dog out of there too without compromising your safety. You may be best off calling the local animal welfare center. They will likely take the dog away if you tell them what kind of living environment he maintained. Then you can probably adopt it from there.

But right now I am confused about the dog situation.. You said yourself that you don't think she is doing well.. regardless of your situation, she wants to be with you. You already said that she is not fond of him.. and given the abuse you've witnessed.. I don't know how you could feel comfortable leaving her there :/ I would have broken in long ago or at the very least gotten authorities involved. I am sorry, I am not trying to pick on you.. From what I have read recently it seems others must already be doing that, so please don;t think I am being mean. I just have a dog and couldn't imagine this scenario happening. I hear you, but that would be very dangerous for both her and the dog. She's better off taking legal measures. She said she had the proof, so the law will be on her side.

BUT she will also need to obtain a protective order and move as far away as possible afterwards to protect herself and her pup.

I mean...aren't you just going to go back and live with him once he starts the whole 'when you coming home' thing? Almost a year ago you made a post about him hitting you and you stayed, so, I'm not sure what you really want us to tell you. Obviously the logical thing to do would be to take someone with you and pick up the dog and all of your stuff when you can. And use police if necessary. But, you've said you've made excuse after excuse to justify his behavior. Are you sure you're not going to do that again?
