Is it not true that people love because they are jealous? They may not actually be inlove with the person but they just don't want to see them with anyone else? Or is it something deeper?
Why people love
You can't just say that, irish. C'mon now, give me the reason why.
It's difficult to find a rashional decision to fixing that problem. Almost anything could be understandable but not always seen as the "right way" of fixing things.

Jealousy has nothing to do with love... Love is kind, and gentle, not scornful or jealous. Love is how we feel regardless for someone. Love is unconditional (true love) which is rarely found.
Insecurity = jealousy, not love. Security = love, to feel love and be loved prevents the insecurity of jealousy...

I was very secure in my marriage, never got jealous and my libran ex husband is FINE.... Other personality and growth issues came into play that ended our marriage. I am secure in all the relationships I can think of. I guess I feel we are all grown, if we want to do something (like cheat) we will. No matter how the other might want to prevent it. Mind you, never set the situation up, but don't go crazy thinking and wondering about it. In my relationships I was adored. I just didn't feel insecure about it. Even when other women would stare him down. I took it as a compliment.. 😉 Now he on the other hand was quite different. LOL!!!

anotherscorp, there is no such thing as unconditional love in spouses. I believe that only exsists in parents to children.
Where there is jealousy there is not love. Jealousy stems from insecurity love stems from trust (the unconditional kind). You can't make a person love you and you can't stop them from leaving you and truthfully how can you enjoy love if all you do is spend your time trying to control it with manipulation. Food for thought. LOL
Love is a precursor to procreation. And I spoke of only one and the best known form.
