Asked me to be his wife. . He said "will you be my wife. . One day in the future. . When things are settled down and your divorce is final. I still have to visit where you live and see if i like it. From there we will see where we live and go from there. No rush but I will I do want you to be my wife and spend my life with you."

Next day semi quiet in communication..

Is this normal?

He just wants to know what you think so he can go back and think about it for awhile.

Think about....if he wants that or to build a plan?

I guess he thinks he is being pushy towards u. it could be work stress or something minor 🙂 dont worry

Finalizing a divorce and relocating are both big things to get out of the way first, he may have felt like he got ahead of himself (though he meant what he said).

Being quiet the next day seems normal to me, you know, you say something big like that and it makes you feel vulnerable and unsure if the other person feels the same way!

I was thinking that to. When he asked me I didn't respond right away but did say that I wasn't in any rush at all and yes a lot does have to be considered. Later that night I did tell him that when the time is right just as he said that I would happy to be his wife.
He responded to me in Spanish and that was that.

Thank you. He did seem in a good mood when we did communicate briefly.
We have a long history so nothing that would indicate him pushing it on me. I brought it up jokingly last week. Had no idea he was thinking about it.
