Did i stuff up my chances with this taurus man ?

I would like to hear from all the bulls ..mostly male...get your opinions on whether or not i have stuffed up my chances with this taurus man....
I'm a taurus myself...with venus in gemini...so that says it all :p
- I know he liked me but i had a boyfriend at the time so i said or did nothing...once i finished my relationship with my ex i Facebook messaged him after a few weeks.
- one day he gave me his number..(very shy)....i texted him straight away that night....he replied...just a few
- he texted me asking whether i was going out with a group of friends from work on saturday i said i'm not sure....
- I texted him after...asking him what he's doing....he said he was out...i jokingly said where was my invite..he said sorry and said i should come.
- i ended up going...drove at 11.30 pm that night to c him...
- we ended up spending an amazing 4 hours together....sensual cuddles for 3 hours and 1 last hour or...make out..a little...in the car Sad
- he asked me kind of possessive ways if i was always doing this stuff with other male friends from work...of course i said no...
- while i was with him..he was generous...we had an amazing time...he called it a date...and hugged me sooo TIGHTLY !!
- I drove home...no text message nothing from him for 2 days..so i texted him explaining that i don't always go and hook up with n e guys from work just so he knows and that i had an amazing time and enjoyed the cuddles... he replied saying he obviously doesn't do that also...and he wants to keep this between us...n he's not 100 percent sure what he wants out of " THIS" atm...I said there's no pressure etc ...
ofcourse no reply till now...
hes supposed to be coming to this event thing tonight with my work friends and myself...i don't want to scare him off anymore. i want to give him the patient he needs.. he also finished a relationship 4 months ago and chances are he's still inlove with her ?? not so sure he did say its not meant to be with her...and mine wasn't meant to be either... he was so sensual...touchy...said that we had a matching jumpers and that was really strange...i can't explain how i am so head over heal with him... Sad

I just want to get opinions as to how i should proceed from now on... I haven't contacted him and will not be contacting him....i need to give it at least a few weeks or months...considering how fast i moved in the first place...DO YOU AGREE TAUREANS???
