Mercy.Mercy .........unkind, unkind.......bonita....well done...virgos talk a good talk but don't always walk a good walk...get my drift.....they talk cutey cutey but when you try that on them....it's out of bounds!! sometimes as they rarely believe that someone really likes them so much after knowing them so little....this is only a first date...don't feel rejected.......I think I acted the same as you on the first date with virgo guy over 5 years ago.....I texted the next day saying I had a lovely time last nite (one thing I'd never do again these days:-)!!!....few hours passed...thought I had blown it - no reply!!!....no way, he was touched! big time:-) after that he pursued me like a dog with a bone:-)

I wouldnt say I'm shy and I try to be interesting but I dont really give too much before I'm sure of what the other person can handle and their intentions. I was with a Virgo for a little bit and he always thought I was mean because I wasnt all over him and I wasn't very direct...so this situation sounds familiar. Just try to be direct yourself so that he knows that is what is expected and make sure he's comfortable with physical contact before you initiate it, you dont have to act like you're violating him but just crack a joke or ask him if he would like you to "_____" before you do it. I don't like everyone in my personal space and unless I'm very comfortable with someone I dont want them there so try to make him comfortable before you feel him up (which I love if its by the right person). If you give him security and let him know what you want you should see him more giving, unless he really isnt interested....
