Am I the only taurus that have issues with getting along with geminis long term? They say scorpions are manipulative and evil but I give the award to Geminis. Now I'm hoping not all are the same but I always end up hating them in the end. With all the air in my chart esp my rising, I thought we would get along great. Thanks for reading my rant lol
You know what? You are absolutely correct. They do lack those traits. I do only admire fixed signs. I never had an romantic interested in gems. I read their flakiness and moodiness from a mile away. Almost all of the gem I have encountered have an insecurity issue. My one friend was crazy! At 3 am she came to my house and said she needed my help. Of course I got up and left with her but come to find out she had me sit in the car with her to stalk her bf outside his house. I was pissed.
I've met two Gemini. The first one was okay, we had out dates and fun. He asked me to marry him, and then I said huh. And changed the subject.. Then he said I wasn't affectionate. I said I am. But I just had a really hard break up with my ex.. He was all about me initiating everything.. He also diagnosed me with cliniCal depression. Which I am not. He also just said he was only physically attracted to me. This kind damaged my ego.. once again my heart ripped. But everything happens for a reason.

It was a casual kick back friendship literally. We hang out for along time at least a every few months we get together... Till I started school again and it was hard to stay friends after he told me he was with an ex of his.. She texted me. All I said was I was a old friend. I quit talking immediately.. That is why some can't be friends once someone else isn't on the same page..and they move on. So I lost a friend..

.... But that was enough for me to realize I need more initiating from a person by texting or phone calls and less last minute cancellations because you are busy.. and more than just physical attraction..
@ Busy- yeah wth is up with that.. Lol I am independent but I do to feel you need me in your life though somehow and someway.
I do feel I need you to want me in your life, typo. But equal with just enough space to miss each other. Then come back type of thing.
My father is a Gemini, I have a Gemini Moon and two close friends who are Geminis. Unfortunately this sign is highly misunderstood and associated with only the superficial side of their zodiac. Keep in mind, this sign is represented by the twins....not one entity. I don't believe that this sign is disassociated from their emotions, but rather perceptive and real observant of people in general ( a trait that Tauruses share a swell). They're simply able to rationalize their emotions in a compelling argument, for this sign possess the gift of superb verbal communication. This can immediately come off as insensitive. If you observe most Geminis, you will see that they're mostly liberals, freedom-fighters, and humanitarians. You can't be passionate about a cause and be disassociated from your emotions. To feel is to react. This sign does feel things, but feel them deeply, maybe in a more unorthodox way.

I have never been romantically linked to a Gemini, but I do love this sign. I find them to be very intelligent, grounded, passionate and articulate.

As for the superficial aspect, I can relate that to my Gemini Moon. If there is any display of superficiality on my part, it is simply because I'm entertained, or simply humoring them. Trust me, I will never take them seriously. Tell me one lie, I will tell you two. Tell me two lies, and I will deliver three...with a twist of lime. Call it my distorted sense of humor. But don't think for a second, that I am actually shallow. The more conservative and and realistic side of my personality is reserved for those that I have a deep respect and admiration for.

...So I can understand why individuals find the twins confusing.
Busyeyes,

I have a Jupiter in Gemini as well.(as well as a Moon in Gemini).

I have never met a Gemini that I've considered "evil". I've had at least one super close friend who is a Gemini all throughout my life, but I have Venus in Gem and get along with the men great. I've never even had a female Gem acquaintance, but I've found the men to be some of the most talented people I've ever met. They also all seem to have pretty strong principles.
I'm just glad someone has taken the award for 'most manipulative and evil sign' from Scorpio and dumped it on good old Gemini!

Phew... It's been TOUGH winning that shit hands down every year...

My mother is a Sun and Venus in Gemini. She's an alien really. Just odd. Total Ice Queen. Perhaps that's the rationalising of emotions going on. If I'm being honest, she's a bit of an arsehole... Actually, a big arsehole.
Can't stand gems, my ex was one and she was manipulative, indecisive and selfish as can be. I even butted heads with my grandmother when she'd show her other side.

This is my mother! I find they're not even very good at being manipulative. That said, I have a great mate who is Gem Sun, Scorp Moon and some Taurus added in somewhere. He is hard to lock down into a plan and he does change it often but I'm used to it now and actually like the easy going nature. His Scorp Moon adds in a nice twist! _ ?
