How do you UNlike a powerful crush on a Taurus man? I seriously cannot get him out of my mind!! I'm not going to force myself to meet new people because right now I don't want to. Help!!! What has worked for you...

I wish I could help you because I am having the same issue. I am trying several things. Distance for one. It helps that Taurus is ignoring me...except I highly suspect he ignores me because he thinks I am ignoring him. Which makes it harder for me to move on. And I have also developed another crush it was working until I found out said crush and taurus are brothers. O-o

It sucks but those guys are like magnet.

When you say "lust" I take it that its primarily a sexual thing. Have you ever had sexual attraction towards someone that was so strong it affected your eating/sleeping/focus? I haven't. Usually there's more to it, if you're that affected.

Getting out and meeting another love definitely helped me get over him. Focus on yourself and you own life and eat and sleep like normal. Please. Don't let this guy continue to control you. You're stronger than that.

i would echo the other sentiments - try to occupy yourself with something else but also try to meet new people. be a little be more social for a while and get reacquainted with the market. there are lots of interesting people out there, some of who might want to get to now you better.

understand though that much of this crush has been built up in your head so if you can, look at the situation objectively. remind your self about all the negative aspects to this experience so far. a lot of this i suspect is the allure of the chase. flirting is fun and gets your heart racing but you are also left with confusion and rejection. that roller coaster of emotions is not so fun in the long run.

the not eating and not sleeping is normal. its not a magical bond you share but more your brain's chemistry going temporarily off kilter. remind yourself that this guy isn't making any moves to get to know you therefore he doesn't want to be with you that much otherwise he would cross the divide to say hello back no matter how hard it is for him.

Worst heartbreak I've ever experienced was over a Taurus girl. It took me a very long time to get past it.

Even 10 years later (8 of those with a wife) I still think about her. I don't think it will ever stop, actually. I guess it doesn't help that we chat on FB sometimes. lol

She lives in Germany. I moved there to be with her, but learning the language and dealing with her asshat ex-husband that she still had feelings for (also a Virgo from California, and is now dead; hit by a car) just made it too difficult. I had to leave and get on with my life/career, and she couldn't move with me because of her 2 boys, family and career.

Yes I've been through this cycle plenty times before. He disappears for weeks...I try to move on during that time (it's easier because out of sight out of mind for me)...then he pops back up showing interest...it's an endless cycle that will go nowhere. What did you do? I bet you found someone else by then...

The reason you're taking this so hard is because of how it all went down. You feel like you ruined it and it was solely your doing. There is nothing you can do about it. You have to accept that. In a weird way it should bring you peace know that there is nothing left to do except move on
