And he says it's not about us, but he's asking me all manner of things in regard to rings and would I get married again and when would i likely be thinking of it again, how he'd like to progress the relationship blah blah blah.

Sweet though - but aye, hell no, it's wayyyyy too early. It's only been a year and it feels like 10 minutes.

So, in case it comes up again - what do i do here? I mean, I don't want to offend the man, neither do I want to give the impression I'm thinking along those lines right now. Future maybe. Now? No. God, no.

what i would personally do is this; when the talk of marriage first came up i would've said "yeah i want to get married SOMEDAY but probably not anytime soon." or something on those lines.

Since he says its not about you guys, play along, and when he asks tell him that you would love to ONE DAY. Im not sure if I will ever get married again. I dont even want to live with anyone.

Yeah he's been married before, 13 or 14 years, two kids kinda thing, so he's a "marrying" man.

However, it's far too early for me so I'll just stick to the "Yeah, someday" line. It's safest.

Yeah, he's not being pushy at all - just asking questions "in a round-a-bout way". But what man talks marriage if he's not actually thinking along those lines. I'm sticking with the "say nothing and keep trap shut" deal. Heck, we don't even live together - and I'm not even ready for that yet.

I'll take you up on the offer of the wool jersey - it's a cold snap here and omg! It's teasing me though - it looks warm and sunny outside. Step outside and it's like being hit with a blast of deep freeze.
