Something quite funny happened just now.
For the past 3 days I was pretty swamped with work and obligations, so I didn't have the time to casually 'whatsapp/text' my taurus friend. I was juggling everyone's needs and my own, so everyone had to do with a little less of me.
He texts me 'is something wrong?'. I reply with a 'no, just been really busy and trying to keep everyone happy. why would there be something wrong?'. He answers 'because you didn't say a whole lot the past few days'. I explain why that was and told him I wasn't leaving him any time soon, so he can relax a bit.
Suddenly I get a 'never ever leave me' followed by a blushing icon.
Uhm.. what the hell was that all about?
All it did was make me raise an eyebrow and wonder what it meant.
I learned not to trust my own interpretation but only cold hard facts said by him, so how does this fit in?

Most likely heavy Cancer influence... or could be Pisces as well but sounds about more harsh so odds are Cancer... Sometimes they are like Lenny and pet the rabbit to hard... killing it... they are like that... so needy they often drive people away or kill the friendship....

I cannot help but wanting to be petted? Boy does that sound dirty now but I need physical/emotional affection and reassurance I'm wanted and needed. All in moderation of course, smother me and I'm off to the deep end never to be seen again.
It was just very strange to suddenly get him to show a needy side, after he's always been the closed off strong type. Doesn't let people in like at all, the reason why all his past relationships failed too. Anyhow, progress in a way it is.

It could have been the New moon on the 11... that kicked it up... Some times if these types of people have been hurt by other people rejecting them... they don't let as many people into their inner circle... and this may have been a ways to let you know he considers you a very close person that walls like this don't exist... I would take it as an honor but also don't let him over run you with his neediness... It is better to try and talk about it and not blow up at him for it... If it gets worse and you need to focus on things then let him know... if that does not work then maybe it is time to let him go as a friend until he can better control his emotions so you can grow yourself with out him holding you back...
Thank you for your compliments on my abs... yes I work very hard for them but am trying to work both on my soul and my mind equally as well... Not easy but I have been making some major ground these days...

eh you could think of it that way, but a Taurus doesn't typically expect anything he/she isn't giving in return. I see it as loyalty and holding on to something you care bunches about.
Our style is pretty simple and direct without taking a lot of risk, and our point of view can come off a bit self centered. So...
Don't ever leave me (can simply mean) I'm very attached to you, and I hold a high value for presences in my life.
I don't think I have or would say it romantically, unless it was a very serious relationship. But when I say it to anyone I do mean it. I do understand that people do come and go from my life, I would never seriously stop anyone from moving on or watching the distance between us grow because of our different paths. I will eventually accept it.
But when I see them again my appreciation is the same, like no time has passed. Many people actually say that about Taurus. We are consistent, long lasting, and can hold on to those positive feelings about a person forever.
