Quick observation about Taurus/Cancer/Capricorn

I've heard and read of many Taurus/Cancer relationships. Seems to be a very popular pair, but I'm just going to throw Capricorn in there too since they are also compatible and it's Cancers opposite sign.

So I'm watching a show, Love and Hip Hop, and there's a Taurus and Cancer couple on there. The Cancer is a popular rapper named Jim Jones and he's been dating the Taurus for 6-8yrs now. The Taurus is and has been ready for the next phase of the relationship for a while. She proposed to him and everything, and all he could say was "I'm with you" which was not really what she wanted to hear. His mother dislikes her and feels that she's selfish and wants control so she can be in charge and not for the better good of things. When his mother said that, I agreed with her. Chrissy(Taurus) does seem like the type that can't be trusted 100% just for that reason. It's like she wants what she wants and you never know how she will behave once she gets it. I think that's a fear in Jim too, which may be why he's prolonged things. You can tell he loves her a great deal, but he is definitely a bit hesitant.

So I was on his mothers side in seeing that she seems selfish, just a tad, although you can tell she's in love with him. As I was on his mothers side, Chrissy(Taurus) made a comment about how she feels he's planned for everything else(Career etc) but their relationship. That's when something hit me.

Now this is where Capricorn comes into play. I KNOW that "some" of us don't have a clue of what we want outside of success in this world. I can't tell you what I want from a relationship, nor can I really take the lead in one. Also, as a Capricorn, you will win me over if you'll fight for me. That's not the mentality of someone knowing what they want. When Chrissy said that Jim doesn't have a plan for the relationship I thought maybe Cancers, being our opposite, are a bit similar. This seems to clash with a Taurus knowing what he/she wants and being sure of it and not afraid to go out and get it. You have the unsure(Cancer/Capricorn) and the sure(Taurus/Scorpio). Of course, this will create insecurity in the Cancer/Capricorn. If the Taurus lead the relationship, which you have no choice but to, then that's power to have our hearts in your hands. Tough pill to swallow.

Now maybe this doesn't apply to Cancers. Maybe they do know what they want, but it's just something to think about if the Cancer or Capricorn seems hesitant.

What's the confusing part?

When I read about Cancer males and Taurus women, I often read about the hesitation on the Cancers end and their(Jim and Chrissy) situation shed a bit of light on why the relationship doesn't move as quickly as the Taurus woman may like. Also, since Cancer and Capricorn are opposite signs, which I think opposites are more alike than different, it can also shed light on why Capricorn males are hesitant with Taurus women.

In short, I'm saying that Capricorns(especially) and Cancers may be better at planning, executing and knowing what they want outside of relationships, as Chrissy said, but when it comes to that drive within a relationship they may not be as sure. On the other hand, Tauruses are more driven within a relationship, which may create a bit of resistance from a Cancer/Cap because of their uncertainty in matters of love. If there's a lack of trust or a wall built up between a Taurus and these signs, then that may be why. Taurus is a go-getter sign when they are interested in someone. Usually, from what I read, it's the Taurus thats in pursuit. That's because they know what/who they want. Capricorns and Cancers not so much it seem.

Cancers move slow like that. I think Jim knows if he marry her, something might not go right. Cancers love the idea of marriage, family, and babies. Where as Capricorn are hesitant cause their not sure if that fits into their career plans, if it's the right guy, or if it's the right timing. Cancers will jump on that train rather quickly if they believe it's the right person. He maybe in love with her (deeply) but I don't think he trusts her enough to go there. If it's not broken why fix it. Besides he probably knows if he marry that girl, she's going to take all his money. Lol.. She looks like the type and she looks crazy.

Yep, she's a Taurus. I like her. She seems to have a nice spirit, but I think she IS disrespectful to his mom, and there is just a little something not to be trusted. I agree with him being in love with her, but yeah, he knows that it doesn't feel 100% , but yet again that could be because he doesn't know what all he wants from her, while she knows what she wants from him.

btw, there is a rumor that she was beat up badly at her ex's funeral years ago. Supposedly she stole a lot of his money, and fled to Miami(or somewhere). Years later he was killed and she went back up there to attend his funeral and was beat by his friends who knew she stole his money. They say all of her teeth were knocked out. Now I don't know how true this story is, but that's what I've read.

Because Taurus woman have all the things that a perfect MAN(masculine) should have.

Its the same with Pisces.

honey, taurus women are not worst but they just don't get along well with a partner who is authoritative and controlling(another taurus, leo for example) and the men who want to take things into THEIR hands because taurus woman wants that role for her.

The bottom line is they are not good for real Men.

The bottom line is that a strong man needs a strong woman, not a doormat. Yes it's cute and sweet and 'oh so cuddly soft' in the beginning, but a man tires of someone not his equal across the board. Or just takes a nice healthy all over it. And then the woman wonders why he's such a schmuck. I'll tell you why, because he's let to get away with it. Get back what you give. Now shamrocks, lucky clovers and blue diamonds are a bit of alright, but when you breathe fire and need someone swinging at your back just as hard, it just doesn't quite cut the ol' Plochman's. I am a strong woman,no question about it.and YES,if I'm with a man who is incapable of taking the lead and taking care of business....I damn sure will.someone has to make sure the bills are paid (I don't mean supporting him financially,I mean actually sending that check to where ever),that tire gets fixed,and whatever else needs to be done.
I'm not some prima donna waiting on a freakin prince to show up and meet my needs.
But I don't want to be the head of the relationship either.I just have to have a strong man,that I trust to be in charge.then I can relax and do my "womanly" part.
Bottom line,we have to have a man we respect.
Men or women....no one respects someone who let's them walk on them.regardless of sign.And not many respect someone who has to be taken care of like a child either.

This is misconstrued. Taurus women are usually very feminine..just not "prissy" would be the closest word. They have a domain..BECAUSE THEY'RE BULLS. You cannot just be some macho guy and expect that to work for seduction. Anybody ever been on a farm? Bulls choose who they protect and consider part of their domain. To get a bull to come to you in peace means you have an appeal BESIDES being some testosterone junkie. They most certainly CAN deal with a strong man...just not an abrasive one. You're thinking about capricorn. In my experience, capricorn women cannot deal with very strong men. They crave men they can control.


PS....what taurus- male or female REALLY gives a dayum what another strong person thinks? That's how virgo and taurus differ from caps.....caps can most certainly revel in places that need someone with "social-strategy"..most of us other earth signs are gonna get mad....and fight(taurus) or move on(virgo). No smiling amongst enemies with us.

For example..in MY experience with capricorn women...many of them expect a man to take the abuse of seemingly getting NOWHERE with her emotionally...you know..a guy who will "fight for her"...so that she'll show him how great she is for him.....LATER...much LATER. Most men with very good self esteem would scoff at that or find a way to sleep with her and bounce VERY FAST. Why? Simply put....he has to wait and SEE if there's going to be any reciprocity within his investment....leading to huge possibility of complete resentment while she NEVER sees later on how she helped breed it. Sorry, but I've read of too many stories where the Virgo man scarred the Capricorn woman, even recently. Plus seeing it play out with Cap an Virgo celebrities. Mary J. Blige was scarred by her Virgo ex, and Mashonda was scarred by the Virgo ex husband who dumped her to marry Alicia Keys. Capricorn women who've let their guards down to get screwed in the worst way by Virgo males. You can't say that they didn't reciprocate because Swizz married Mashonda, and Mary was engaged to Kci. Maybe the initial hesitation in the Capricorn is for good reason when it comes to Virgos. I think that once, even you, find the woman you want, you'll fight for her and make sure to get her, and nothing is wrong with that.

Um...celebs...all of whom have had and continue to have problems with narcotics use. Jessayin. I don't know any virgos in RL who've cared to stick it out with cap women. Most of us feel the same way: bad taste in our mouths.

I appreciate the kind sentiment about the "one" but honestly...no. I don't see it in my "path" to have a love like that. But thx though.

Drug use has nothing to do with staying with a person, or moving on with someone else. I don't know any Virgos and Caps IRL either, and if you feel that Cap women leave a bad taste in your mouth then why mention Cap women in this thread? That's been said before about Scorpio women, that they secretly wish they were men. With Taurus being opposite, maybe they do think similar in a sense. They definitely have a take charge personality, and will snatch the wheel if needed.

My Taurus cousin is no joke. When she was out of work, she walked door to door asking people if they needed someone to cut their grass lol. She definitely has a hustle mentality, all while her Cancer boyfriend was at home on the couch, but she has no problems being the provider and being the one to get out there when things are rough. She's only 23, and he's about 29 if not, 30.

I've never been with a man that depended on me in the context you're alluding to,except my alcoholic ex Scorpio husband.And yes,I did have to man up there and be mom and dad and HIS mom,AND take care of business while trying to help him quit drinking.he did not ever really want to quit drinking,so we are no longer married.I don't think it's sexy for a man to depend on me that way either. 😉

Um...no. stubborn, yes...it may SEEM controlling because they DO say "no" to little things...out of just being stubborn. Again..back to the farm. But she didn't say she left him because they, or he was using drugs. That had nothing to do with him hurting her by saying "im not engaged to anyone" after giving her a ring. I get what your saying, but it wasn't the reason they split. If it was she wouldn't be carrying the pain of that relationship still. Nor does narcotic use/abuse has anything to do with Swizz and Mashonda's split. Has nothing to do with him cheating on her with Alicia Keys, and marrying Alicia.

I agree with many celebs not being stable. But Ashford and Simpson were a Tarus/Virgo combo.
