I don't watch TV - it was a distraction from schoolwork for me so I haven't had cable in my home for about two years now. I didn't know anything about Twilight until a friend recommended it to me last weekend - since then I have read the first two books and am almost finished with the third. I knew a movie was coming out so I wanted to see who was in it - I couldn't be more thrilled that Robert Pattinson is playing Edward Cullen!
While reading the books I considered the personality of Edward and decided he is definately a taurus - Robert is also a taurus; he couldn't be more perfect for the role!
I was really afraid they would cast someone like Zach Efron, since he's the teen "it" boy right now. My vision of Edward would have been destroyed if that were the case. But Robert as Edward is exactly what I'd hoped for, he fits the image in my head of Edward to a "T"
