Taurus and Gemini. Worst match ever?

Yes, but Tau female and Gem male are also the couple most likely to NOT divorce. Can't wrap my head around why.

Hum. Well right now I am speaking to a Taurus with a lot of earth placements (lots of Virgo). I find him super serious and I like to joke around and it's only met with the infamous Taurus stare (not to be confused with Scorpio's "here's Johnny" stare, along with silence). I pissed him off pretty badly the other day slinging my witty retort (or which I thought was) and he charged around his pen leaving it in ruins. Well so much for that. Since then he's been withdrawn and as you know Gemini's we don't chase or dote. So I guess ill let him sit in his pity party alone. Not sure what to do but all the sudden he's not texting, not calling, just moping I guess.

It's worth noting that it's not just sun signs. A lot of Geminis have a Cancer or Taurus venus and a lot of Taurus' have a Gemini or Aries venus.

My Taurus sister has been dating this Gemini for years. He's cheated on her repeatedly. She constantly says when he's within earshot "the only thing that will make me leave him is if he cheats on me" and he just smiles and cracks a joke. She KNOWS he cheats on her. But Geminis just do something weird to Taurus'. It's like they stop thinking rationally. I swear once a Taurus gets hooked on a Gemini they turn a blind eye to anything. It's so sad to watch. My sis used to be so grounded and self-assured. Now she spends all her time keeping a watchful eye over his zipper. She's a Taurus sun, leo moon, Cancer venus, and cancer mars. Maybe Taurus gets attracted and just gets stuck. I think for Geminis the appeal is having a forever listening partner, who will never leave them no matter what they do. Notice how there aren't many male Tau, female Gem couples. Perhaps women are conditioned to put up with more shit.

Plus I think Geminis make it extremely easy for Taurus' to let their guards down. As a Taurus I'm already fairly guarded but with a lot of Cancer in my chart, it is extremely rare for me to just click with people off the bat. I find that with every Gemini I've met, I feel automatically comfortable and uninhibited with them. This "ease" can quickly be mistaken for a romantic connection, compatibility or chemistry. But the truth is Geminis can make connections like that with everyone. I was not special. It reminds me of the Scorpio connection. A big issue I had with ending my relationship with my Scorpio ex, was that I thought there must be a reason this man was so intense and emotionally extreme towards me. It must be some profound love. It was easy to think that I was the one making the Scorpio "intense", but a Scorpio will be intense whether you're there or not. I was not special. Taurus isn't the only person that Gemini is putting at ease.

My friends are a Taurus Female/Gemini Male combination, they've been married now for almost 30 years and have only ever been with each other (not unusual in this here country), they are simply the happiest most together couple, have untold fun together and really enjoy each others company. Extremely well suited, they look after each other.

I don't think it works. Some of the Geminis I've met are sociable and ok by I CANT STAND THEM. THEY'RE ARROGANT.
