Taurus Gifts for Christmas

I have not been on these boards in quite some time, but just curious as to what gifts would Taurus (men and women both) actually like for Christmas or have been surprised by as a Christmas gift in the past?
A safe bet for me is a giftcard to someplace where I like to eat. People who don't know what else to get me end up getting me that. Not exciting, but it comes in handy.

I remember after my trip from Japan a while back, I had bought my mom this really nice Kanae Kokeshi Doll and I was so excited to give it to her.
Years later I never saw it displayed and when I helped her move out I saw it in a storage box still boxed. I asked her why never displayed it since I gave it to her with so much love!! And she said "but it doesn't go with the decoration?!"

A pair of tennis shoes he fell in love with a couple months back he just couldn't afford at the time, a hoodie (since he loves wearing them), and just a couple tshirts since he loves wearing them as well (one with Taurus sign that says "I'm not stubborn. I'm just right.", and another one with a rubix cube mixed up that says "if you've got a problem, yo I'll fix it.". Whenever I spazz out & want to detach for good he always tells me he's not going anywhere. I refer to him as just a friend though because most times when we do hang out...we really are just hanging out chilling & talking & relaxing watching TV....no sex. However, my best friend just visited from Philly (flight at my expense) for a week and I took her Christmas shopping for an entire day....everything on me. I spent more on her than I did him for Christmas. I keep my circle of trust very small so I tend to spoil the few that are in it. Its both my sun & moon that makes me this way. I'm just a bit fortunate that I'm in a position to be able to spoil my friends the way I do. It's all relative really compared to what I'm truly capable of doing. I like giving and receiving art in some form, like framed art prints or oil paintings, decorative mirrors reflecting the personal taste of the receiver. I enjoy giving books to Gem friends and family because they enjoy receiving them so much. Friends with collections of something are the easiest to buy for. IMHO.
For myself, I enjoy receiving most anything decorative or useful. A gift card suits me fine. It's easy, and I get tons of pleasure using it.

Based on the five senses is more like it.
SUPER PICKY about gifts and rarely like the gifts I've gotten from others (I never tell them that though). But really we're hard to shop for but you need to LISTEN to what we say and observe us. Must be something in the air. Because I was fine and woke up with chills, and sore throat, popped some Tylenol . I might go to urgent care and take off work. My brother here who I don't see often is getting sick.
You know Taurus rules throat and I can't eat or drink without feeling discomfort. Lol.
