taurus man is a coward ??

Dated this taurus guy. He was great, affectionate, and talks about future with me a lot.

But last time he bailed on me 3 days straight for no reason and I haven't heard from him since.. we were in a serious relationship, I just couldn't believe he would just disappeared without saying anything.

I mean if he wanted a break up why didn't he be a man and tell me straight up. Why keep telling me all the sweetest thing possible but slowly drifting away.

I agree - but it sounds like it's been awhile ?

On the other hand why do people make a post and leave instead of actually posting, talking and figuring it out. Just tell it right from the beginning don't leave your own faults out either no more.

There's a lot missing from this story. Really need to add some details for context here. How long did you date? How serious is "serious"? Have you tried contacting him? If you did, did he not respond? What did he bail on -a date? Did you fight? How long has it been? Why are you talking about in past tense as if you've moved on -if you've moved on, why worry about it?

This isn't normal Taurus behavior as far as I know. So either there's something in the details that will help make sense of this or you got a player which, I guess, is possible for a Taurus?

We've known each other for over 10 years.. dated for couple months.
At the beginning of relationship he told me he's not looking for temporary relationship, he's in it for the long haul. He often discussed future with me. He planned a vacation for us for next year. He asked me to introduce him to my family. Etc all that "I'm serious about you" crap.

Anyway during the period times we're dating, he barely contacted me like only once every 3 or 4 days which I'm totally cool of. But last time we talked was 2 weeks ago and that time we haven't seen each other for 3 weeks because of his job. He was still being as sweet as he was then.. he asked me out to dinner and I agreed to it but he cancelled cause he wanted to play soccer with his friend. He told me we'll hang out the next day.

I waited until 5pm then he called said he couldn't make it this time too so let's do it tmr I said ok and I waited him up again the next day but *poof* he disappeared. Not a single word.

I called him twice no answer. I thought maybe he had to leave overseas for work (he often disappeared into his job) but no, he didn't as I saw him online on Facebook which is something he never did while working. Also, he's ALWAYS chat me whenever we're both online but this time he didn't. He ignored me altogether. I sent him a shirt msg asking whether he wants a break up. No respond yet.

Oh we've never been into fights as his excuse for disappearing always been his job, so instead went all crazy about it, I tried to be supportive.

You say he has been slowly drifting away.

Was it something like this?

1. The conversations/meetings started reducing in number

2. You found yourself to be initiating most of the meetings/conversations

If this is the case, he might have found some new "interest" you know. They often do that.

And if you talk to him about it, he will probably "be like before" for at max four days and continue to be distant.

I am not bashing Taurus men, (So please dear Taureans, take no offense) , All I am saying is that he may not be interested in you anymore and is just avoiding the "I lost interest" conversation.

Yes he did all of that.. and I'm kinda sure of that too. Just that I wish he'd talk to me about it like a mature person.

I mean when he asked me to actually date him, he's being very bold and straightforward about it. Why couldn't he do the break up thing as bold as that.

Oh about being the awesome girlfriend, maybe it's too late cause I already confronted him asking if he wanted a break up. No respond yet, well he probably will never talk to me ever again.

Did he actually say it was a breakup? if not....that's common taurus behavior. Most times it's not that serious, they just like to have personal space or time. Don't take it personally. Just let him know that you would appreciate it if he would keep in contact more and not disappear, but also understand that when he does need alone time, use that as a time to focus on yourself.

Yes i heard tauruses are like that but this one... he didn't say he wanted a break up. He just kept making plans and cancelled and then just disappeared without a word so I don't know.

If he blames his disappearance on his job. Just leave him be, let him come to you then really make him work for it. If you just end up giving in the moment he comes back you will be stuck in a loop. Don't ask him the "why" until things settle down and you catch him off guard thats the best tactic for anyone regardless of sign.

I already sent him a message asking whether he wants a break up. Was that a wrong move?
