Taurus with a confusing gemini ex

I posted this with the gemini`s also, wanted some taurus feedback though, sorry for the length...A lil background. Ima taurus male and we talking bout my gemini ex who is still in my life. I feel i am in love with this girl, we tried it once but she wasnt over her ex after a little less than 2 months of dating. she was basically my best friend since we met back in 2005. i tried to cut it off but she doesnt want to let me go...and i honestly just enjoy bieng in her presence and i know she enjoys mine. As a taurus i find it hard to disguise my feelings because we are naturaly affectionate. its hard to take her actions as serious because of the flirty aspect of this sign. Although she doesnt flirt with other men and the things we do are only done with me,to my knowledge. when we broke up she told me she didnt want to open a new door with me before closing an old one. i can appreciate this,but i think i shot myself in the foot by remaining in touch with her and not just letting it completly go. recently bout a month ago...i brought up the topic of wat i was to her, she called me a friend, so i ended contact(Again) i guess it was a reality check to her cause she then(the next day)pulled out a text message i sent her literally a year ago and sent it to me. ever since that day, she hit me up everydday, everytime i signed online. like the knowing that i could have been gone from her life brought her so much closer, she has asked me to be her valentine but i asked out, not even saying the word date an she says "yea, but its not a date," like i absolutley cannot even assume it...wtf is going on with this girl?lol i dont take the valentine to heart or should it?i have planned a weekend getaway at a B&B. dont kno if she`ll be uncomfortable sharin a bed with mem, even though she has spent the night at my house sleeping up under my arm on my couch...What am i to do?what does it mean? any insight is greatly appreciated.

i am a taurus woman 36yrs old who has best friends with a gemini woman since the age of 13yrs,and let me tell u it will take some work for this relationship to work..the good thing is you were friends first,that is going to help u..me being a taurus it took me a long time to understand this girl..but butted heads a lot..geminis can be controlling and need plenty of freedom as in taurus are passive but dont like to be told what to do,we dont liked to be pushed into things we dont like to do...example when we were younger she wanted to club a lot i didnt most times i didnt want to go but for the sake of friendship i went,,yes they are very flighty the can change their opinion on something,daily wkly or monthly,,as with taurus your opinion,or thought never changes,,u will not know what to believe when they tell u something..now with time it gets easier because u have to study the behavior,,they like to talk when u dont sometimes and sometimes they dont want to talk when u do..so what i do now is wait until she calls me and then we talk,the reason is she is always doing different things,when the thought comes to mind she calls and we talk,,sometimes in contact for days at a time then we dont talk for amonth,,we have monthly girls day out..my advice stay up with current events and have something to chat about.every now and then,u can intiate contact sometimes they will only answer when they feel they are ready to talk as they are always doing diffrnt things..as a bull it was very difficult for me then i realized she keeps me on my toes and i keep her grounded.good luck

contd,,she tells me all the time she knows i will be there thru thick and thin...for her it was easy because i am so predictable,,there will be times when i was not so sure about her,,because her actions didnt show me that she would be there thru thick and thin but years passed and never shows her actions until we got much older.see gemini are selfish people when they become selfless thinking about anothers well being before there own thats when u know u have meaning in there heart for u...okay im done good luck,,hope this helps

well...she has put me in the cursed "friend zone"(lol)...literally stating she doesnt wnat to be with me forever more...doesnt get much clearer than that i suppose... i have enough friends, and she honestly isnt dependable enough for me to rely on so i dont want her as a friend(makes me wonder why i wanted her as a G/F) oh yes, i was in love, u over look certain things when u feel that strongly...i would repost by asking how to get out of the friend zone but i`d rather just focus on a girl who will reciprocate my feelings. it is time for this taurus to turn his back, and move on.

Hmmm...ironically I think by acting like her boyfriend and her not wanting one is what got me into the friend zone...why I want out? Feelings dude...emotinal and all, nobody wants to b "friends" with the one they truly care about...so yea, explain that further.

its like...she invites BF behavior, she asked me to be her valentine, she asked if she can spend the night...this aint middle school anymore, things like that i persoanlly dont take lightly (not o.d seriously but u kno coming from the chick i care about)...its funny, cause the reason she still wants me in her life is because of how i act (which is sorta like a BF) with out being tied down by one. this should turn out quite interesting when i stop doing basically everything i was doing before.
