maybe some of you guys (or girls) can answer my question:
does a guy usually go after a girl with the primary intention of getting in her pants? i mean, feelings could develop and all after that, but is that your first motivation? i'm kinda naive on the reasons, but guys have always had a reputation for being pigs, so i'm just trying to find some input on that.
before i got with my boyfriend, i would date and stuff, and they were flirty and crap, but i never thought that they were after sex. i thought that the whole world was pretty much innocent because i wasn't really focused on the issue. it wasn't like i was too interested in those guys anyway to keep going out with them, but i was more into conversation and fun time than intimate moments. i had no problem with keeping my virginity.
i got with by boyfriend about a year ago, and he told me that guys are pretty much horny - they just don't tell you that. i was so surprised. he asked me if i thought any of his friends were horny, and i said no. he then told me about what they talk about all the time - about how they always try to get girls. and he didn't pressure me into anything either. just spending a day at the park, wrestling, dining, shopping, or strolling was enough. we have debates all the time and we just play with each other's minds.
he once told me that he wished that i had a button, so when i would talk about the zodiac or something, he could just push "off." i was like.. wtf.. u ass.. lol.
but back to my question: are guys all after sex? because my guy never pressured me, even though he was very passionate when we would kiss or just held one another. and he even told be once that he's not after sex because he didn't want to take advantage of me. and another thing: is it weird for a scorpio to cry when he hasn't seen you for a long time? mine cried when i saw him about a week ago, and he said that he didn't know why he cried. but he still smiled and we hugged. i dunno. sometimes i sense that he feels guilty about something. he always saids that he thinks that i deserve better because i never cause any torment and i'm always forgiving him. so do u guys think that it's a way of him wanting me to leave? maybe he wants more freedom, because long-distance relationships are hard. we're been together for almost a year already, and we still connect. it's just that i sometimes feel a strange drift when i don't see him for awhile. he also talks about how girls approach him all the time, and how he never feels any temptation. but if that is true, then why does he always have to make that clear to me? i'm confused because i don't talk about when guys approach me, yet he always has to brag about something. i just find it irrelevant and cocky to rub it in his face like that, but he rubs it in mine pretty frequently.
sorry i got the questions mixed up. you guys can answer either or both - any answer would be greatly appreciated. so yes, are all guys initially horny? or what does it mean when a certain guy (my boyfriend) acts a certain way?
does a guy usually go after a girl with the primary intention of getting in her pants?
-- Yes. Always believe the worst unless proven otherwise. On another note it depends on the girl whether something progresses into something more than sex also, if you jump right on it (literally lol) then most likely you've stumped any chance for a relationship because sex is all they'll be thinking about now! It's their preoccupation. However if they show no interest in getting to know you then it's a prettttty clear sign that they just want one thing. The signs usually are as follows: trying to touch you, just wanna make out, all they ever talk about is sex or make a lot of sexual comments, constantly asking sexual questions, dirty jokes... you get the point. Pretty much they disappear when it's clear you won't be giving in but some are more persistent then others you have to give them a good kick in the ass.
And even if you're not being pressured, there's hints or you can trust your intuition. Be especially weary of anyone who seems too good to be true! those guys who are all lip... uh oh bad sign and stay away. Also they have a tendency to play victim when they feel you're onto them or don't show much interest in them. And when they've had enough and feel they've wasted too much effort I'd expect them to show their true colors in a spectacular array of fireworks. Not everyone is the same so it could just be a small outburst for which they'll apologize BUT don't let the words coming out their mouth distort that which your eyes have seen. Intuition is our radar and it won't pick up something that isn't there, don't dismiss a greater kind of understanding.
more persistant THAN others. i also don't knowwwwww about the constant reassuring someone that they won't pressure you if there's no need to address it... ?
"is it weird for a scorpio to cry when he hasn't seen you for a long time? mine cried when i saw him about a week ago, and he said that he didn't know why he cried. but he still smiled and we hugged. i dunno. sometimes i sense that he feels guilty about something. he always saids that he thinks that i deserve better because i never cause any torment and i'm always forgiving him."
--Honestly I must admit that this behavior is very weird... maybe he has issues. OR the way he always needs to be reassured that you're faithful, you ever hear of 'one judges according to his own' ? something to that effect. Seems to me like he likes the attention he gets from girls.
Well, here's a question. Why do you think you're asking this? No one can really tell what's going on exactly because we aren't there hah and EVEN if we were there, it's hard to tell. Only the people in a relationship know but I get it I get it we always want others opinions as well 🙂 Tell us how it goes.
thanx for replyin, gurl. i see what you're saying, and trust me, i've spent a lot of time pondering this crap. but i think i got the basic thing down. i think it's insecurity, and that pretty much happens to all of us when we're in deep - some more than others. he tells me about his feelings pretty often and admitted to a lot of things. i get surprised, but i understand where he's coming from. sometimes, i think that i've always understood; it's like i already knew the answer, but confusion seems to always hit every now and then. he's supposed to be coming soon, so i'll see how it goes. i know he loves me - and i love him, too.
i appreciate your insight on the matter, though, tauruschic. you laid it down really well. haha.. you even answered the first question with a lot of confidence. i think it's true.. well, it sounds really believable, but i don't really wanna believe that (none of us girls do). hmmmm.. haha. damn bastards.. lol.
"A woman has a close male friend. This means that he is probably interested in her, which is why he hangs around so much. She sees him strictly as a friend. This always starts out with, you're a great guy, but I don't like you in that way. This is roughly the equivalent for the guy of going to a job interview and the company saying, You have a great resume, you have all the qualifications we are looking for, but we're not going to hire you. We will, however, use your resume as the basis for comparison for all other applicants. But, we're going to hire somebody who is far less qualified and is probably an alcoholic. And if he doesn't work out, we'll hire somebody else, but still not you. In fact, we will never hire you. But we will call you from time to time to complain about the person that we hired."
is this really, completely true in all cases (i'm still pondering about it) -- c'mon now, be honest..
New too this board Vix...but...I'd have too say that if a guy is a friend with a girl and always hanging around...most def...He's interested in her...Most def!!!
Hey guys, I need insight. I met this fabulous guy this Friday through a friend. We went on a double date and we all came back to my place. Things got heated and it went down. I was figuring that since I had been such a hot ass he might not want to see
Here I am 8:23 Saturday night... nothing to do, well there is but I'm stuck in my chair, its got some sort of grip on me which won't let me get up... if only the tv would turn on I'd beat it but the remote is beyond my reach... dxp at my reach :)
