why doesn't the taurus male see it

I have a taurus guy who is interested in me and we have a mutual gay "friend" who isn't out of the closet. Funny thing is the gay "friend" is interested in the taurus guy so it's a love triangle. The thing I don't get is how can the Taurus guy not see that the gay "friend" is interested in him as more than friends. The other guy is constantly trying to sabotage stuff between the Taurus guy and myself by playing both sides because he doesn't want us to end up together. Everyone (our mutual friends) can see the gay "friends" possessiveness of the Taurus guy has gotten out of hand but for some reason the Taurus guy isn't seeing it as anything other than friendship. Is the Taurus guy just oblivious to the obvious?? I don't get it

Have you asked him about it? If he's not interested in that guy then he won't be swayed in the slightest. He may see any obvious manipulation if it exists but if the guy pushes it too far then his attitude will change I suspect - decisively.
I haven't asked the Taurus guy about it because the gay "friend" is not out of the closet. I don't want to put the gay "friend" in an awkward position. I just don't see how the Taurus isn't seeing all this?? Or is it that he is looking at it from inside the box as opposed to outside of it?
huh
I think the Taurus guy is just naiive
talked to him yesterday and realized he has an idea but I guess he feels a connection with this guy so he can't shake him besides the gay "friend" clings to the Taurus guy like there is no tomorrow
fyi
Yesterday s/w the Taurus guy and realized he knows the other guy acts gay but wasn't aware of his advances towards him
