Will it ever be more than sex?
I would say listen to what he has to say. Men will always give you an out, and he definitely did just that.
Don't do it. He's warning you. If you do it and then you give it up too quickly (handing your Ace card over) and he did ZERO to earn it I can guarantee you he's not going to date you.
I'm definitely NOT going to have sex with him. He is fully aware. He said he doesn't want to lose the friendship though and he still wants to see me when he visits. He still calls and texts like normal even after I said there would be no sex.
My question is more is there a possibility he will ever want more? It's still very early on. I know that I decide right from the beginning what type of relationship I want with somebody and I don't think it's ever changed once. Does a taurus man think the same way? I know right now he just wants to be friends with a little something extra when he's in town. But I guess my question is has he made up his mind on me or is it possible he's still feeling me out to see if there is a possibility of more?
I guess I already know that answer, but it helps to talk it out.

From a mans perspective. Don't give it up. My experience and understanding tells me this...he is very interested and doesn't want to fuck up a chance at being with you in a relationship. When a man is serious he will treat a woman differently than he normally would. Meaning...if he says he wants and would have sex in a heart beat but tells you no...he is putting you in the category of someone who deserves respect and honesty. He wants a relationship that is not based on sex.

exact same position with one of the taurus man i had a special connection with.. i meant EXTREMELY SPECIAL. not sexual chemistry but comfortable sense..(taurus+taurus) soothing and relaxing.. i knew it instantly...that night was super special ! best hug ever had in my life.. he's interested i know .... He also told me upfront on the phone that he's very confused right now ! he is not ready for a relationship and can't give me that ! i said i'm just interested in seeing him ! nothing else..no pressure.. now if he just wants to have sex with me ! he would just call and hang out / come over/ right ? he's not doing any of that ! so chances are ..YOU ARE RIGHT ! he puts me in a special area ... when he is ready to have a relationship again then he would maybe think of me ? and date me seriously ? not sure ...
u r right though ..we work together and i heard numerous stories about him that he talks dirty to many many girls ! open about his sex life etc.. when it comes to me though..NONE OF THAT..took him 3 hrs of cuddling ....to finally kiss me... ! his statement " O..m...g... we actually kissed" .....
the question is....what do we do ? date other men ? would that give him a wrong signal ? ( we work together so rumours go everywhere) he liked me when i was in a relationship for 2.5 years so he said to me that maybe he was just a rebound for me :S how do we know that its not " i'm not ready to be in a relationship " ...." with you"... ?
boys boys boys! i never told him i want a serious relationship with him ! it was obvious that i liked to see him (once) outside of work. he must know that me and my ex broke up because he couldn't give me 100 percent etc...commitment phobia..so i think he assumes that i want a SERIOUS relationship from him... all make sense to me
