Off to the melodramatic work of the LA Fashion Industry. Same writer and producer as the young and the restless at this point.

Idk the dates on these episodes tho

We're beginning sometime in the early spring of 1988

Rocco and Ridge are both proud of the Fashion show they put on. Rocco is later being a pain in the ass. Caroline is trying to prove herself. Brooke has turned down Ridge's advances, but will she break it off because of their differences in family and income?

Rocco was playing obnoxious to try and turn Kattie off. Caroline is enjoying her birthday with Thorne. Ridge (Caroline's ex and Thorne's brother) is not so much enjoying it as the 3rd wheel. To Caroline's chagrin, Brooke shows up for Ridge. Caroline knows that Brooke kept a letter Ridge wrote to Caroline from her, but Ridge doesnt. How will all this tension play out for Caroline's birthday?

Ridge doesnt want to cuz he works for Spectra, the competition. Stephanie has been looking for the father that abandoned Brooke, Katie and Storm. Brooke and Storm wonder if their father is still alive.

I've never watched this due to time, but really wanted to. Mostly because of the commercials on the Y&R thread posts lol.

Just wait for the young and the restless crossovers if we ever make it there. Thats when it gets great lol
It will probably take me a million years to get to that point, but I'll get there.

Can't believe I'm seeing a topic about that show lmao.

My mother has been watching it since before I was born. Watch it every morning. She always prefered Taylor with Ridge, she hates Brooke 🤣
lmao I agree with your mother
i watched this for decades. i've recently stopped since the continuous steffy/liam/hope/thomas storylines. i can't see how any of them find it challenging work to rehash the same lines over and over again.

Yeah the past decade has been utter trash

But it has been the same for all the american soaps left over the past decade lol

I'm intrigued. Caroline seems a little too disappointed that Ridge wasn't going to stick around for her birthday celebration. I saw that look he was throwing back her way.

The low key shade Caroline was throwing at Brooke.

I take it the fact that Ridge refers to Brooke as "Logan" means he's not all that emotionally attached/invested, despite all the corny gushing. Pretty much confirmed it when he didn't include her in his 20 year plan lol. Dude. Stevie Wonder can see it.

What's up with William Bell and these keep it in the family "snowballing" storylines? It's the same thing in the Y&R with brother/wife swapping-brother/ex girlfriend swapping. No one is marrying their ex's brother or having a love child with their brother in law because they couldn't distinguish their man's peen in the dark in even the most ghetto life. Expand the budget. Hire some more people. Geeze.

Ummm, not sure what up with Katie and Danny Romalotti's younger cousin---err Rocco lol, but only on a soap opera would a waitress have the nerve to dump food on someone's head and still keep her job.

Interested to see how this unfolds. Only 30 min though? Goes by fast.
