Did you end up reading the second book? I don't want to ruin anything for you so I'm biting my tongue a bit.

Most Poignant Moment:
Robb and Catelyn in the tent discussing the "family". Broke my heart.

Verbal Jousts:
The beginning with Tyrion arriving at King's Landing and addressing the small council. His tongue is even sharper this season 😄
Also the exchange with Cercei and Littlefinger lol.

CGI:
Greywind looks AMAZING. That scene with The Kingslayer, Robb, and Greywind was fantastic!

The Comet
I like how they tied everyone together using the comet.

King Joeffrey
He's even more of a monster than before! You finally see Cercei coming to the realization she created this abomination and is now losing control. Though it was glorious seeing Joeffrey get slapped again lol.



Thing's I didn't like:
Ros the Whore - Okay I'm completely sick of her! She had more air time than Arya and all they did was make her repeat what Littlefinger said last season. GET RID OF HER! 😄
Melissandre - I'll admit, I'm a bit disappointed in her performance. Maybe she'll grow on me.

Shits getting real and FAST!

I did not finish the book since I had started by the show, I didn't want to know the story (although I may continue at any time..lol). But Melissandre is not a character I like just yet. She doesn't look as evil/enticing enough. Lol @ Ros being annoying!

And King Joeffrey is insane! I love every scene with him in it..

Greywind's appearance was fantastic. I love the whole wolf thing.

Lol @ Tyrion...he is hysterical with Joeffrey and Cercei and his snide remarks. When he says to Joeffrey " I didnt see you in battle"". lol

Question VH,,when Daenerys sends 3 men to find a way out of the desert, who is the young dark-haired one she calls blood of my blood or something. Is he her brother in law?

Ummm not really la brother in law. That guy is just one of Khal Drogo's blood riders (warriors). When Drogo died, the whole Khalasar abandoned Dany because its a society that only respects strength. That guy was the only one who stayed loyal to Dany.

Highlights and Lows of Epi 2!

Highlights:
Arya time! The chemistry with Arya and Gendry made for a fantastic exchange. Loved it.

Tyrion getting rid of the Capt. of the Gold Cloaks and putting Bronn in the spot. I really enjoyed that part of the book and they did a good job with it.

Littlefinger subtlety telling Ros, "Cheer up, make me money, or you'll die".


Lows
Ros...really? GO AWAY. I hope they kill her soon.
Cum dripping off the other whore's lips, slightly entertaining

Ok, just saw episode 2 last night.

-I felt the prostitute's despair when she was subtley( or not!) threatened to be killed if she didnt "make him money". Also, lol also @ the cum dripping from the other girl's mouth and then she goes right up and tongue kisses the old man. I can hear every man watching go " eewww", lol.

- Arya's storyline is back! I love her spunky attitude and how did Gendry figure out she's a girl?

- I have been reading the book. In the book Dany and the rest of her tribe find an abandoned city, then she sends the 3 bloodriders out to scope the land. I dont recall anyone of them being beheaded. But anyway, I wonder if they will tell Ser Jorah's story?

- My favorite part has got to be Ghost scaring the pregnant girl. I also like that a lot of the women portrayed are average looking. The woman with Theon on the ship and also his sister are not "models" like most actresses.

- I also see the actress who played Ann Bolling on TheTudors is coming up in future episodes.

Cant wait till next week!

Yes, Arya's back 🙂 The verbal joust between those two was good! How did he figure it out? I would say most likely because of having to pee. She can't just "unzip her pants and pull it out" so to speak lol.

Bloodriders / Rakharo
In regards to the blood riders, in the books you're correct. The blood rider doesn't get beheaded. I'm of the impression that the actor got a more substantial role so he couldn't finish out season 2 and quite honestly, the role is REALLY minor. Even through the last book, I think I could count his appearances on one hand. I wish they had translated the conversation when Dany and her servant were mourning him....

"Amrita Acharia??s anguish echoed across the Red Waste, and just like that, shockingly, we knew it was over. One of the more quietly brilliant characters on Game of Thrones had met his maker. Ghost looked AMAZING talking to Gilly. It's funny because in season 1, it was had to see the "dire wolves" as menacing because they all pretty much smiled with their tongue's hanging out wagging their tails. (Dogs will be dogs lol)

Theon
Oh they've done a great job making the women "ugly" to keep it realistic. I THINK you'll actually get to see, Brienne the Maid of Tarth, one of my favorite characters in the next episode. She's actually a beautiful woman but they REALLY had to ugly her ass up for the role. I can't wait to see if they can pull it off.

Ann Bolyn actress
I'm not sure if you're at that part in the books but she's playing Margaery Tyrell. Sir Loras's sister.
It looks like they're going to delve more into her in the series compare to how it was just alluded to in the novels (*Zips his lips*!)

Oh! Something to hold you off until the next episode...

Haha its a pretty nasty torture. I've read a bit about it. Once the bucket is heat, the rat instinctualy wants TO GET THE HELL OUT OF THERE and the easiest way is to dig, gnaw, and claw through the victim's flesh. Not an easy way to go

Hmm have you seen Episode 5 yet?

Hi VH! I saw episode 5. I feel bad for the tall lady guard. Arya's storyline is getting really good. When the torturer was killed and she looks up to see Jaqen looking all non-chalant, loved it! Khaleesi's story is also getting good again too. In the book, you knew Jorah was in love with her. When he tells his story of his wife and says how she looked like Khaleesi. Can't wait til next week.

Winterfel, Sir Rodrik
I DID NOT expect them to open up with the Fall of Winterfel. The first 15 minutes of the episode were freaking INTENSE and I know what the hell is happening. Plus the scene with executing Sir Rodrick (this is different than the books)...Seven Hells!!!

The Stark children begging to let Sir Rodrick to live. Sir Rodrick being brave saying "I'm off to see your father..."

Someone must have been cutting onions because I almost got misty-eyed!

So how do you feel about Theon now? 😄

I didn't know if the actress would be able to pull it off. But after I saw her gritting her teeth plus verbally delivering "fire" to Jon.... Touched by fire, indeed. I don't think Jon's going to get much sleep with that *cough* Ygritte wiggle.

I can't believe only one more episode for season 2 already!! Oh, Tyrion..I hope you are not dead!! I have to admit I was almost sorry for the Lannisters in this episode. And the battle scenes were very "Lord Of The Ringish" which I am a great fan of too. I saw the sneak preview for episode 10 and I am chopping at the bit..lol
