Ok I'm totally gay here but is anyone else hooked on this show?
Hannah - I really don't like anything about her. Annoying, kind of a sloppy girl, emotionally lazy and hellbent on staying that way. Definitely a Taurus, just like the acctess playing her.
Marnie - Probably the most "balanced" of the bunch. I'd like to know the sign of the girl playing her, Allison Williams. Can't find any info online. Definitely girlfriend material.
Jessa - Don't like her type, was annoyed by her the moment she appeared, definitely a Sag. One of those adventurous, thrill-seeking people travelling the Earth, with no goal, no real friends and no home to come back to. Life is just a series of motel-rooms and shallow acquaintances masquerading as friends.
Shoshanna - I guess many people find her annoying, but I took her to heart the moment she appeared on screen. Maybe because she reminds me of a Pisces I know, about that age too and STILL a virgin! Anyway she has the same mannerisms, smarts and child-like qualities of this character, the resemblence is almost scary. I urged her to see the show, I bet the universe will collapse upon itself pretty soon.
Adam - What an annoying weirdo, was my first impression. But later he kind of grew on me, and now I love him. I don't know if it's acting or if the guy playing him is really that weird, but I've never seen anything like it!
Charlie - Yikes, though I do recognize myself in certain aspects of his personality. I guess every modern guy does, unfortunately. He's totally a Cancer.

Is Jessa the 1 that was babysitting the 2 girls, who had the surprise wedding & married that creepy guy? If so I like her. She's pretty essentric. Hanna needs a makeover or something, sheeeeesh!!! She's really frumpy looking. I like Adam because he's such a weirdo...hahaha, I remember the episode where he was jerking off, lol. Didn't he ask her to step on his balls or some weird shit?

Loooove that show....Hannah cracks me up and although Hannah may not be a beauty queen i still find her attractive. I dont think she needs a makeover because shes real, makes the show more believable. I died last episode when Marni asked her why she was wearing that greene shirt and she said because it was a Wednesday night and Im alive baby, lol. Lena cleans up pretty well too on the red Carpet. MArni annoys the crap out of me, shes selfish and spoiled. I love Shoshanna she is sooo cute to me, her personality as well as her looks. Jessa is cool too, I like that she does what ever the hell she wants. Adam is cool too , i like that hes weird.
@ November Sun: 'Why do you find Marnie girlfriend material?' - Because all the other girls either have their heads in the skies or up their asses. Marnie is not superficial or selfish and she doesn't have unrealistic expectations, neither in work or love: she is only demanding what she should be getting. Shoshanna is cool too, but she's more of a comic relief I think, hence not gf material. lol
@ robyn: I think you may be right. I mean, intuitively she makes me think Taurus, but as you said, based on how she goes about doing things - Aries sounds more logical!

Reality check: Hannah doesn't know anything about the real world, she leads a make-believe existence where she's a struggling writer but in reality she has zero work-ethics and has up until recently lived off her parents! She can hardly pay her half of the rent, and instead Marnie constanstly has to pick up her pieces - both financial and emotional. Neither is she worried about it because she knows 'someone else will do it'. And why the hell did Marnie decide to move, if anything SHE should have thrown Hannah's lazy ass out! Above all, Hannah is a user. When her friends cannot deliver to her standards - and who's she to set any standards - she just shuts them off, emotionally, and puts on a fake smile. I think she's just a cold-blooded leech. Unfortunately the character is representing a whole generation of women today, and we're somehow suppose to feel sympathetic for her wandering, meaningless existence. And the fact that she has nothing to write about because, duh, she'd have to have a soul for that! And what's up with her breaking up with Adam? I mean she had it all going exactly the way she wanted, but suddenly she has a change of heart, because out of the blue, she'd rather live with her gay ex-boyfriend.... Wtf?
Snap, can't you just tell I'm very passionate about this show?

I never said she was more spoiled than Hannah, I never even stated Hannah was spoiled. They are both spoiled though in their own ways. Anywho its seems like Marni is annoyed at how Hannahs life has become more exciting, roles seemed to reverse. Tonights episode. UGH.
I just started watching season 1. Watched 6 episodes. This show is a crazy mess. Drives me crazy to watch it.
I feel bad for Hannah. Half the episodes I'm like, "wtf is she wearing?"
I think Adam is a giant douche.

I hated Adam in season 1, he grew on me this season, but he is such a mess, he has no social skills, ugh.

Hannah is perfect just the way she is. Women are not plastic barbie dolls or blow up dolls or super models.
Hannah is in no way perfect. If you believe that then you've got a weird definition of 'perfect'. LOL
It's not so much her slacker appearence and constantly bruised arms and legs, but her slacker atittude. She's a manipulative whino and a loser on top of that.
It's like the creator of the show was hellbent on creating her as disgusting as possible and then say, See this is what a normal, average girl is like. To which I would reply, -- Uhm no it's really not! It's what a slob looks and acts like, regardless of what they have between their legs. I don't even know guys who are so slobbish all the time!
On another note.... I really liked Adam's new girlfriend. Definitely my type, and by that I mean her personality and preferences in & outside of the bedroom. The "date rape" in the earlier episode really opened my eyes, kinda made me realize something I lost sight of, with all the humiliation and shit that's usually associated with "good sex" these days. It's liberating to see a girl who's a little more original, or shall we say 'traditional'.
I still like Marnie though. I know she dumped her boyfriend because he was 'too nice'.... but hey, I'm that nice guy too and even I was annoyed by him. He definitely should start wearing his penis on the outside!
I liked Adam's girlfriend too but I think what happened between them was an act of self sabotage, because it only happened after he saw Hannah.
I will never understand what attracts him to Hannah, she's so gross in so many ways .

I find it so interesting how in the beginning of the show you think Adam is the one who has serious problems, but after you get to know the characters, you see that it's Hannah who has the issues.
Yeup. That's why they work together. They can accept each other, knowing that they're both "messed up" in their own ways.
