I stoped watching half way through season 6 when they killed off Glenn. Cause he's my favorite and the heart and soul of the show. Finally started up watching again and was so excited he survived! They better not kill my bae ?

I'm putting my money on Aaron. It seemed really weird to me how he'd hardly been part of the show since he recruited Rick & Co., then when this mission comes along, out of nowhere he volunteers. This was the producers way to get a cliffhanger without having to sacrifice a major character. Maybe? But this is my theory.
I agree Glenn is on borrowed time, but he's been around since episode one and lots of people might quit the show without him. Daryl is an unkillable. Gotta have him. Ditto Rick. But Carl or even Carol?
I guess we'll find out.

I honestly love this show. If they start to follow the comics more. It's Glenn who goes. Negan kills Glenn in the comic with Lucielle. Also Carl and Negan form a bit of an odd friendship in the comic so won't be him. I cheated and Googled around. The odds are Glenn or Abe at this point. Internet talk is Glenn then Abe who tries to step in to help and gets it.

I know he kills Glenn in the comic version, but the screen version has been very different from the start. Like Carol lives but Sophia dies; in the comics, it was the opposite. But by letting Carol be the one to live, it made the show much more interesting IMHO.
So maybe the writers will allow Glenn a little more time? If Glenn dies Maggie's story becomes less interesting because their love bond was such a factor throughout the series and the lengths they'd go to to reunite with each other. All the adventures and new people they met along the way. You can't spoil that Lucille. You can't. You mustn't??

The level of violence in the Season Seven premiere was offensive as well as being an insult to my intelligence. I don't need to see two beloved characters bludgeoned to death with a barb wired baseball bat to understand that's a pretty disgusting way to die. They could've done the killing off camera and it would've been fine with me. Violence this extreme seems to be violence for violence's sake, not because some element of the story NEEDS it. And, that's not the reason I began watching TWD.
It was an interesting psychological exploration of survivors in a zombie apocalyptic world where society has been shattered. Law and order no longer exist. Neither does any kind of structure. Everyone has lost something irreplaceable. Yet most people were able to preserve a shred of integrity through it all, and everyone hoped to rebuild the world they had known no matter how difficult this seemed. United in this intention, it was easy to watch and hope along with the others that they could realize that dream of restored normalcy.
Last night's season opener was, simply, a spiral down the vortex of bestiality. It was not entertaining to me to watch. It was an ordeal. Like the other 63.47 % of disgruntled viewers, I'm quitting TWD until Negan is no longer on the show. I'll miss what this inventive show was, but clearly it's not for me at the present time.

I started reading the comics at #97 & ppl were dead I thought were alive & ppl were alive I thought were dead. Kinda weird. And the relationships all screwed up. I can see why readers would be upset.

Am I the only one who doesn't like richonne??
I mean I see the connection but it was totally out of left field for me - they had such a good friendship but it felt familial to me, not romantic
Plus, she's a bad ass and being in love is making her soft as hell and I'm scared she's gonna die

This season wasn't the best.
Every Sunday I use to be on the edge of my seat with major anxiety. Anything could happen.
This season was nothing like that at all. Every episode was somewhat boring.

Still a die-hard fan. Negan should have got it, though. At least Simon. Give us SOMETHING.

I did watch the finale and liked parts of it very much. But what happened to the detonation of the fence at Alexandria when the Saviors arrived? Something went seriously wrong there and if not for Sasha I think the whole Alexandria family would be history.
