SPOILERS SPOILERS !!!

anybodys watching?

Still watching though I'm not caught up and I'm no longer emotionally invested. It was so good for awhile...
Posted by 2Moon

Yes, I still love it! Its not good like it used to be but I still love it, it's still pretty good.

I haven't watched the new season yet!

Had some housing issues and lost internet couple days before the premiere!!! 😢😟 😤😤😤😤

Positive side: I'm going to be able to watch all the new episodes without waiting! 😋 😎 😃

I hate waiting between each episode..

I cant wait, to discuss the episodes, hurry up smile smile

edit: I should put in the name of the thread "spoilers" so not to ruin the details for people who havent watched it yet

I know what you mean, they did a good job of aliniating fans with nonsense actions and speeches for soo long... so I am happy they finally kicked up (promoted away from the creating process) they guy who used to do it and gave it to to Angela Kang, season 9 is a massive upgrade

have you watched the last episode?
I got bored after Coral died.
I'll pick it back up. Was too disgusted by Rick's punkass. Cringe-a-thon.

Had to shake that shit offs.

I just got tired of the contrived writing. Previously established intelligent characters acting stupid for no reason except to further the plot. Tired of fodder characters being ignored then given development just to be killed in the next scene, trying for cheap emotional pulls. And then the deaths just to increase ratings. The last straw was the death of a certain character that should have never died because it went against the whole freaking narrative of the story. And yes that last one was mostly Gimple.

I'm glad as well, though imo it's too late. Best thing they can do is bow out and do a spin off while bringing back characters from the main show.

No but if you're implying about a character leaving the show, I know it happens I don't know how. Got spoiled but I'm not surprised on the direction.

Gimple single handedly almost ruined the show, the total nonsense not balanced with anything good was just getting too much even for a loyal devoted fan, like myself

I am glad I didnt give up, now its getting better

but it will take some time until the emotional involvement which they were consistently killing will come back smile

I am happy there are again more zombies, the past "all out war" seasons were getting on my nerves really, if I want to watch gangs fighting with each other I would watch another shows

I highly anticipated "Fear the Walking Dead." I wanted to know what happened, why are there zombies, what did people do? I love the jump off of chaos.

I was not disappointed. I think I'm a season behind but, that because I was swept completely away by "Z Nation." Which I think, is my favorite zombie apocalypse series.
Looked like it was gonna get good again until they took my man, Rick away.... wtf

If this continues without Rick, I will not be watching.

I did like the part with Judith and Negan...it was really cute how they connection between Rick's family and Negan continues.... something there.
I love this man. He's everything good...(except the season that he lost it and was just shooting everyone at plain sight lol)

yep, the Negan Judith stuff was gold

I like the time jump, it was a good episode

altough they have the "speeches" again, which I loathed (Michonne´s opening speech..... nah)

but, there was this particular thing, when Eugen and Rosita went to find the connection, and the horde of zombies appeared.... why Eugene had to climb down and run away, why not just stay there upstairs at the construction, Rosita should have climbed up as well and wait until the horde would pass them?

what would be a logical explanation of this?

Fear started off a bit slow, because it shows stuff happening right when the infection began. But when it got going, it got good and it was so refreshing after the crap that TWD turned into in later seasons. Season 3 was the most intense by far, and Kim Dickens did a frikkin awesome job headlining Fear (some even speculated she's related to Rick because she had a hidden southern accent).

Alycia-Debnam Carey is also a highlight and her character evolved the most out of everybody. She's amazing. But - season 4 is where they brought in the Gimple retard and it all turned to shit overnight.

- time jumps back n forth

- half of every episode is flashbacks

- now all of the sudden it's The Morgan Show

- new forgettable ANNOYING characters

- you have to wait until the mid-season finale to find out what's happened that made everyone else so "........."

second half of season 4 ain't any better. Except the flashbacks stopped. It was some of the worst writing in tv history. Basically, it became an extension of TWD in terms of how shit it is now.

is the Fear good? I saw only one episode at the beginning and it was bad, but what I read it got better and sometimes better than the original (which was not hard given the last seasons smile )

I will start to watch the Fear

Gimple can destroy any good thing, I cant imagine why they let him touch anything twd related

he nearly destroyed TWD and now apparently doing the same to Fear?

I am so glad they removed him from the TWD, it became watchable again

Still watching though I'm not caught up and I'm no longer emotionally invested. It was so good for awhile...

The "spin off" is "Fear the Walking Dead" which I started to prefer.

He did ruin it, season 9 ain't any better. Total snoozefest, nothing's really happening. The past few years this is how I described TWD to anyone who asked: "skip every episode except for the season premiere, midseason finale and season finale, and you won't have missed a thing".

And he did ruin Fear. As soon as the season 4 premiere started (after the cameos by Rick, Carol and a couple others), the first thing you noticed is the crappy instagram filter & the bad saturation. Immediately made you think you were watching just another TWD episode.

Many people are completely ignoring season 4 and pretend like the show ended during the big showdown in the s3 finale. It might as well be that way. Surprised it was renewed with how low the ratings fell.

i think season 9 is actually a massive upgrade after Gimple left the creative process

I mean, its watchable again and I am grateful for it smile

I actually cant wait for the new episodes, which was not the case the last 2 seasons

and zombies are finally getting back in the picture again, which is always good in a zombie show smile

but I am starting to watch the Fear at the weekend and try the Z nations somebody mentioned also

Looked like it was gonna get good again until they took my man, Rick away.... wtf

If this continues without Rick, I will not be watching.

I did like the part with Judith and Negan...it was really cute how they connection between Rick's family and Negan continues.... something there.
yep, the Negan Judith stuff was gold

I like the time jump, it was a good episode

altough they have the "speeches" again, which I loathed (Michonne´s opening speech..... nah)

but, there was this particular thing, when Eugen and Rosita went to find the connection, and the horde of zombies appeared.... why Eugene had to climb down and run away, why not just stay there upstairs at the construction, Rosita should have climbed up as well and wait until the horde would pass them?

what would be a logical explanation of this?
Although Eugene and Rosita don't know it yet, that wouldn't have worked. The "hoard" that is chasing them are not actually walkers.

yep, I know smile

but they didnt know, thats my point

so there is no explanation for their climbing down instead of climbing up and wait, if they didnt know

they just thought they are regular walkers, so sit in peace and quite until they go would be reasonable

they are doing it later when laying covered by mud

so, why not do it before?

but yeah, it was perfect how they introduced the new "thing", just not their behaviour before

I love this man. He's everything good...(except the season that he lost it and was just shooting everyone at plain sight lol)

.... BITCH!!
Rick is my favorite, I loved him

(on a shallow note: I didnt like him with a beard smile )

I am happy that Maggie is out, I never really liked her, she was unbearable when she was "important"

how she became a "leader" of hilltop I dont understand (not that it was too hard, they had Gregory after all, so not really top choices)

but apparently people like her

I thought I was the only one who didn't like Maggie... and equally I never understood why she became a leader of Hilltop.

Yes i don't get why Michonne didn't let the new people stay but she would take them to Hilltop. The show didn't explain her rationale... why Hilltop was okay for them but Alexandria was not?? Also not a fan of speeches ... except from Rick...somehow he makes it work lol.

And yes regarding Eugine... thought the same but then someone explained that the walkers linger around when they smell a human around so then he would've never been able to get down?

Also Rosita and the pastor?? WTF! That was so odd and forced.

OMG, exactly! it was totally crazy, when they forced him to be with Jadis, totally unlikely, but now with Rosita the same, I wonder how they come up with these weird pairings

Yeah there was no development in his character to show how he went from a life of celibacy to wanting a romantic partner. They're just throwing random shit together at this point.
so what do you think about the mid-season premiere?

the whisperers are quite menacing, its good to have a quality enemy after so long

does anybody understand why the groups dont unite in one place?

the good cop - bad cop tactic from Daryl paid off, or so it seems, with Lydia

Negan sow its nothing really there from his former "kingdom", so he is on his way back to alexandira and will help them?

Michonne is useless

Edit: and Rosita pregnant with Siddiq! when did this happen?

I loved the mid season premier.

As far as the whisperers.

They are interesting. They

remind me how natives were

as far as how they traveled the land and

learned how to adapt with the environment.
have you watched the the episodes the latest and the week before? if not, hurry up so we can discuss it!! smile

I really liked them (save for one or two extreme silliness)

SPOILERS

for Omega: it was a cool twist to have the girl, Lydia to have blurred memories which step by step became clear, that the one who was singing and nurturing was the father all along, and not the father shaving off his beard but the mother shaving off her hair...... first (before it was slowly revealed, I noticed the tatoo and I thought, both the mother and the father had matching tatoos...... but then realised, it was the father with the tatoo and cuddling Lydia).... I like the Alpha actress, very menacing........ the total idiocy was when the newbees went out in the middle of the night with not plan and leaving the two girl there

Henry is unbearable...... I was thinking how nice and different it would be if Carl was there, I would buy more the budding romance (the holding hands in the cell was cute)

for Bounty:

very good, I got really scared once or twice........ the baby scene was chilling brutal (the abandoning and the deaf girl in the corns moments)

shallow note: anybody noticed Daryl has a lighter hair, like brown, not black, and in one moment you can see he washed his hair (I try to find the moment, I think I noticed it at the beginning of the gate negotiation with alpha)
I'm trying so hard to hate Nygan right now. But looking at him through the eyes of Judith is really making it difficult.
Latest episode hit me hard in the feels
I've been watching since the beginning but it got very boring, I can't deal with all the different gangs coming up in every season. Straight up BS

Latest episode hit me hard in the feels
the latest episode is omg... the child army thing was brutal

perfect episode

I just watched it a few mins ago online and I am still shaken
another perfect episode

anybody seen it?

I'm really impressed with Angela Kang.

She has set the next season up so beautifully. With the Negan, Judith, and Michonne arch..

And more importantly.. Lidia and Carol. I think Carol, despite losing Henry.. sees so much of Lidia in herself.

Season 10 I think is gonna be so good.
Interesting..

Angela Kang mentioned about the whispers and the heard, that they act like a migratory animal. Meaning.. they probably went south for the winter to survive.
