Go about returning to a woman that broke up with them if they realised they'd made a mistake? I don't want to limit this to signs, I'm talking generally. How would you show you wanted her back, or would you think about it but do nothing about it?

I broke up with him, but I think he wants me back
I wasn't considering it, but I know the pain of wanting someone back so I would be prepared to hear him out. Anyway, is it his ego that wants me back or a chance to really be with me, I can't tell. It's not about the D, I can get that anywhere at anytime.
So no guy here has never genuinely tried to get the woman to be with him for a second time? For altruistic reasons only. Ok, that's all I needed to know, thanks.

You're looking for signs. There was no drama, no games. I said it's better stop seeing each other and he said "ok, it's your decision" and it was as simple as that.

You seemed so sure in your "I want out!" thread a few days ago. You said that there was nothing worth pursuing beyond attraction, said he served his purpose for you, you deleted his number, ciao, and all that.

Also, I am still confused because y'all weren't actually together.
I can be alone, I haven't had a serious relationship for the last 7 years..that's not the issue either. I'm just asking whether any of the guys here had tried to return to a woman and how/why they did.
