Posted by yupvirgooGreat response! And I like the last part... we choose the love we feed and allow to grow.
@Aries_Luminary
It's scientifically possible.
We are complex beings and it’s very possible that two different traits in two different people can both appeal to us.
Say you're in a relationship with someone then someone new comes into your life. It could be a new person at work, someone you meet when you’re traveling, or some random situation, but you feel something you shouldn’t feel- you're falling in love. (This is due to the surge of hormones, total biology).
It starts with simply talking, but as this person is speaking to you, something inside of you is going wild. It’s instant electricity in a way that should be reserved for the person you love. You interact with this person on a consistent basis and find yourself falling hard. It’s very confusing.
How could this happen you ask?
Because there is something missing in your current relationship. It might be sexual, mental, emotional but somewhere there is a void that this second person fills in.
But remember, we choose the love we feed and allow to grow.
Posted by GemitatiThank you for responding. Are you male or female? And what is your take?

Why do some men... not all... I won't group you... Why do men like to keep side chicks when they are perfectly happy with their life and who they chose to be in a relationship with?
It's just a simple question.
This isn't the why do men cheat question. Because people in general cheat for their own personal reasons.
When I say side chick I don't mean a woman u randomly have sex with from time to time. I mean a woman you are carrying out a "relationship" with. You buy her gifts, take her out. You do all the things you would do in a real relationship. You go out of your way for her and make time for her. All that. And you care about her and have feelings for the woman.
BUT you love the woman you are actually with and have no plans on leaving her. You're happy with her. And you're happy with your side chick. I guess really it would be having two girlfriends.
But anyway. I see this ALOT. And I'm curious as to why it happens.

Posted by SsupermanI guess this could be a theory or possibility.
Because they like sticking that dick in crazy. They like that chick who will fuck them RCG and turn to look at them and call them daddy.
They get in a relationship too soon without fully test driving before committing. The one they committed to quit doing all that and now he sees her as just another basic chick.
Posted by PancakeFaceI absolutely agree. A person isn't truly happy in their relationship if they are spending a large majority of their time with someone else. But people are complex. So I do believe a man could have a perfect wife/partner and be proud of her, love her, admire her and still want to have another option.
I don't think anyone who's truly happy in their relationship will have a side chick. When you've felt true happiness one on one you don't want anyone else. This whole side chick thing gets glamorised way too much recently in the music industry. Honestly I think it just comes down to insecurity and being selfish. When you commit to someone commit to them. A lot of guys get lonely and yeah insecure they want someone to always be there for them and their needs. You don't do this fling stuff if you truly love someone and you're happy with them. With that being said I can relate to what the first guy who answered first said but we have choices. I make choices to stay faithful.

I think it's a legitimate way to love. Not everyone is suited to monogamy. The sooner we accept that, the better. If you don't like it, don't get involved with those types. And these people shouldn't be looked down upon when they're honest about what they want.click to expand
Posted by Aries_LuminaryYeah there are many variations of love and how you love another person. However I personally believe to have the full true experience of love it needs to be between two people only. That way you're both fully submerged, 100% in. What's better than a woman who fulfills all your needs even if she works hard, gets busy and you gotta wait for her. Nothing like having a woman who's loyal and waits for you to come home and I'm sure the the same way for her with her man. If it takes another person to fulfil your partners needs or some of them don't you think that takes away from the love you share between you? I appreciate women where only you will do for them, nobody else. There is a book called the Uncomfortable truth about relationships which sheds some light on this kinda stuff. The guy found out he was a love addict basically.Posted by PancakeFaceI absolutely agree. Both women provide love, cuddles, a sense of stability. Is this the case sometimes... yea. But that's usually when 2 squares are together. I just don't think that way of thinking fits these situations anymore
I can understand why certain people cheat though.
They want the stability, the love, the cuddles and the cuteness at home.
And then they want to have dirty sex and excitement with the other person on the side.

I personally believe there is a curse, karma, involved in these engagements... more detrimental when engaged in at earlier years of life than later years. You may see the underpinnings of what I suggest in the article.
Edit: you may ask particular persons, as you did here, to explain their behavior to no avail.... As many are not self-aware - truly "savage."
