The Darker Side of Women

This is just something I was thinking about recently after experiencing or reading stories. I am wondering just how often other women have experienced behaviors such as the ones when dealing with each other, and what other users' believe is the reasoning behind them. I will list some examples of things I may, or may not have experienced, but have at least read about or a friend has experienced. I really wonder, how many of us have dealt with this in our lives.



Scenario 1: Group of girl friends, one seems to be prone to being overly flirtatious with any romantic interest of another girl in the group.


Scenario 2: A girl competing with another girl for the attention of a man will lie about the other to make her look bad.


Scenario 3: The chameleon affect - This is where a girl will state she has attributes to a man, that she doesn't really have in order to catch the man, so to speak. This could be personality qualities, income, etc...


Scenario 4: Fake pregnancies or Fake emotional blackmail - Will fake a pregnancy or even threaten to self harm to keep the man attached to them


Scenario 5: The crazy ex. You all know what I mean by this. It may be the girl he dated before you, or was someone whom he may have dated along with you until exclusivity with you. They now cannot let go of either the relationship, or "losing" to another and begin to stalk you or your significant other. They may even possibly try and needle their way in by saying they want to remain friends with your so.



I can tell you, I have personally experienced 3 of these scenarios that directly me as a person. And I have yet to figure out why some women (not all) do this. I have talked about a few of them openly myself here.

Scenario 2 and 5 have happened to me, they are the most common I think.


Societal expectations make women's self esteem and worth depend on their looks and how they are perceived by others (especially men). Some overcome it, some don't. Let's pray for those who don't.

i actually haven't experienced all these much. i don't have any sisters and i grew up with men. i think like a man, so does my mom lol. we don't do small talks or comparing this and that with other women

I haven't experienced any of those directly (me doing them or friends of mine doing them). I stay away from people who are manipulative like that.

I'm very discriminating when making friends.


I have had my problems with women though. During my student years there was these cliche scenarios with some female cliques because I wasn't.. conventionally female so to speak. I grew with males around me and with zero interest (and knowledge) in female stuff like clothes, make-up, boys, gossip... and apparently that was enough to trigger their "female" sensibilities and see me as some kind of threat. Males just find me more relatable than them. So they spread nasty stuff about me..


Ah, I don't remember anything else right now. Finding cool girls my age isn't an impossible task but normally I like to befriend older women. Why women do this? I'm guessing immaturity and a lack of perspective, for example no girl back then was smart enough to figure out my personality was due to the lack of a mother/female figure (I never hid that fact when asked). Is easier to jump to conclusions and think "oh, she just acts this way to make herself look more interesting". Some females appreciate your individualistic nature, others just find it alien because they.. kind of work in groups, like when they go to the bathroom together *shudders*

I have seen or dealt with a few of those things and it's sad to witness other females tear each other down. For many years I have always had more male friends than female... and it's because of bullshit like this and the drama omg no thanks.

Why so desperate to have them?
Almost all of these I have either personally had happen to me, or someone I know.


Scenario 1 happened to me. I have an ex-bestfriend that targeted men I was interested in. I found out later, that some of the guys, she gave her number to behind my back as a guise to "talk to them about me" and to make sure they treated me right. One, she invited to lunch without me knowing, and did a sexual act on him. She told me all of them, hit on her first.


Scenario 2 & 3: When I first started dating my ex-husband, I had a girl I knew, not friends. But someone that was in my social group. She tried to break us up by telling him I slept with 3 guys (she actually slept with them) and presented herself as being a very loyal and put together girl.


Scenario 4: The same girl from Scenario 2&3 - She ended up dating my friend Danny. When he tried to break up with her, she repeatedly told him she would kill herself cause she loved him so much. He stuck around for an additional year out of guilt.


Scenario 5: I hear stories from my bestfriends about this ALL the time.

Funny thing.. Scenario 1, 2 & 3 - I have seen men do this more than women.. A LOT more.
The difference is men do it more in a competitive "sporty" way from my experience. Of course there are a few assholes who will stab you in the back but overall there are unspoken bounderies and rules that most men don't cross, if their friends are involved. I don't know whether it's a male codex or pride or anything but male friends have a kind of respect for each other so they usually back off if they feel they should.


With women however, it feels like a battle between life and death. I guess a woman pictures her whole future immediately if she sees a man who could be the one, so she is not gonna back off for anybody, not even her friends.

I don't know why they are doing this to you and themselves,


Either:

- Very jealous/intimidated of you

- Highly insecure of themselves that desperately need a relationship

- Deprived to fullfilled their overly obese ego

- Psychological problems

- What else of those nutcase?

Honestly, nothing surprises me any more. But I can say, that most of this stuff happened to me in my early 20's and I am not a fool anymore. However, I am also mostly bestfriends with men, and lesbians now. lol

The first one, I was friends with for years before it went bad. Never even had an inkling that she would do that stuff. She disappeared for a year, and re-emerged. Lots of plastic surgery, big ole fake boobs, lipo, etc... I kept ignoring all the signs, because I kept thinking of the girl I knew previous to this. Loyalty is my strength, and my downfall.


The other one, not friends with, she just was one of those girls I disliked that hung around us. I knew what she was.

1 - my sister has a friend who does this to her all the time ...why they are still friends is beyond me. She always tells my sister "as her friend" that these dudes came on to her and shit ? god it's so annoying I want to punch her. I think she's fabricating these stories at least 80% of the time


2 - you can see that on any bachelor episode ?


4 - the girl I know that made pregnancy claims even got him to pay for her fake abortion ??‍♀️

Yeah well she was a nice girl - I tease him he should have stayed with her - she would go do his laundry and cook him meals for the week and shit.


I also wondered why 2 months meant so much to her and asked him if he put it down on her or something ? He said nah and they didn't even spend much time together because they both had busy schedules


I think she was just ready to settle down even at that age because she got knocked up real quick after that

I've experienced 2,4&5 after my divorce when I was hanging in a new social circle. I was so naive! I had no idea women could act like this since my core girlfriends have always been solid.


#2- Aqua women thought I was too private so spoke her speculations as facts to anyone who would listen.


I had an Aries nanny with me for 5 years, who travelled with us and was like a sister-mom to my kids.


My then boyfriend, now husband lived down the street from me. She had a bad break up and showed up at his house looking for a shoulder to cry on and attention. The betrayal!


#4 - Same Aries tried a pregnancy scare on a Gemini. It was so obvious he cut her off cold, which resulted in the break up... which lead to her looking for comfort in the wrong place... and getting fired.


I guess I should have assumed the capabilities of her character but I just never thought she'd do that to me.


#5 - Ex girlfriend of now husband was a Scorpio. I'll leave it at that.

I did have a girlfriend in college that tried to sleep with men I slept with. I didn't care. I still made her my son's godmother and maid of honor at my wedding. She loved me so much, I think the love went a little... She made me clothes without me even asking, tried her best to do anything I asked. So sweet to me, we never argued.


Guys would come to me telling me that she tried to sleep with them like I cared. They were so shocked to still see me out and about with her. A part of me loved how antagonizing it was to them that I didn't care. Then, they looked at me with bewilderment as I stared deeply back with a bright smile.


I remember she and my sister fighting to be in the delivery room with me. When I asked her to babysit, cause I knew she way dying to, I came home to a house so clean, shit was shining. My son was heavily lotioned with his hair slicked down to a fine shellac.


I loved her. She was a Virgo. I could go on and on.


My Virgo husband made me give her up.
