done for you, or you have done for them? Small or big?
my husband brings home easter chocolates from his work. lol
when we started eating them together, I told him i love the yellow and orange ones! (they were a fancy delicious box of them. and different chocolate colors, and he stopped eating the one he had and gave them to me.) Awww. sooooo sweet. I told him, naw you eat it, hon. He said, he ate the flowery chocolate one already. lol SO SWEET. tiny things like that make me smile.
also, it could be your relatives, neighbors. ect.
for example, If i'm at the grocery store and i see buy two bottles of wine, and you get 2 euros off!! I buy the extra one, for mother in law! She loves wine. So i make sure she gets an extra bottle.
The other day i came home on my bicycle from the grocery store, and i had two bottles of wine and grabbed the other to give to my leo lady neighbor. She was so happy! I knew that she would love a bottle of wine. She loves wine too with her virgo hubby.
leo aunty has alot of beautiful flowers and lots and lots of cards.
we visited her and got her some flowers. and easter cookies for her husband (he has a sweet tooth)
she has neighbors who cook for them daily. I thought wow, that's so amazingly sweet!! and so kind and thoughtful of people. Kindness is a wonderful thing.
The other night when I got home from work my husband had already fed all three kids and surprised me with a dinner of porterhouse steaks with goat cheese and crimini mushrooms on top, and steamed asparagus all drisled with a balsamic vinegar reduction (that he had just made from scratch). I was completely surprised and utterly delighted to sit down to an amazing meal that I didn't have to cook.
Then on Friday I went to a girlfriends house and drank way too much wine. I got home on Saturday later than I said I would and felt like death. He took care of almost everything that day (and a 4 year old and TWO 1 year olds is A LOT to take care of) and let me lay on the couch and recover while snugglinh with my babies for most the day, all while he was smiling and laughing and in a wonderful mood.
Needles to say, it was a good week :-)

Awwwww sweet thread.

My son and his dad cook dinner for me sometimes and wait on me...i dont even have to do the washing up. After all the hundreds of meals i have cooked in the past, it is so nice to have it returned even if it is now and then. Our son is a brilliant cook (learned loads at school) and i would be so proud for any girl to be with him. Not a mammy's boy at all!
I also love to get cards from him...he makes them himself ... bright colours and funny messages Big Grin

aw that is also so lovely and adorable.

for me, i dont mind until i'm on my death bed. I'll do it forever!!!! for my sweeties.

but some nights of restaurant dining, at a really nice place, even by the beach. OH MY!!! I LOVE IT.

My mother said something to me years ago which i never forgot (she was a very wise Cappy lady)

She said that if a mother doesn't teach her son to cook, clean etc and be respectful to others that the son would make a rod for another woman's back
So true smile

LaughingLaughing
that's what my mother told me and sisters.Laughing
oh my god so funny!!!!
usually the fathers teach their sons to be men. (you know what men do) fishing, work hard, learn a skill, ect.
it's like GIRLY MEN are out there too!!LaughingLaughing
well that's good for the women who like them.
check it out!!!

Tom Brady, is also a sweet romantic:
(his love letter to his wifey Giselle) Awwwwww, ladies aren't you jealous!!!!? Laughing
https://celebrity.yahoo.com/news/tom-brady-writes-gisele-bundchen-love-note-final-094500251-us-weekly.html

There's no doubt who Gisele Bundchen's number one fan is! Husband Tom Brady wrote his supermodel wife the sweetest Facebook message on Wednesday, April 15, after watching her walk her final runway show of her career.

Bunchen graced the catwalk for one last time for Colcci's show at Sao Paulo Fashion Week on Wednesday, April 15, wearing three different outfits.
The mom-of-three beamed from the runway as hubby Brady watched on proudly. And after the show the doting dad took to social media to express his pride and admiration for the woman in his life."

There is nothing girly about men being able to survive and look after themselves lisa
So i was married to a man that was girly and have a son that is girly??

That is so stupid

I had a dad that could never cook......when my mum passed he was lost....now that is very foolish isnt it?

it's good they can survive on their own. They should learn how to cook for themselves when single/bachelor especially if they aren't able to, or pay /hire someone to do it if they're not married.

i honestly don't want to have an argument with you over girly men.
women have different "types".

my mother was Aries/Taurus and did the same. my two brothers help/ed their wives with housekeeping.
well then Single Ladies!!! get those types then.
Hup hup hup!!!!
get to it!!
Put your MONEY where your MOUTH is.
Don't talk about it. DO IT!!!

walk the walk.
if that's what you keep encouraging, then get to it!!
anyway,
to the subject.

My husband and his buddy were telling me about stuff. You know, men stuff. lol

well, his buddy was mentioning about going to Singapore with his girlfriend, and they both wanted to try out the massage parlours, but a nice place, not those seedy back alley types. Kind of for tourists.
They took both of them, his girlfriend and him in separate rooms. And so FUNNY but the lady massager took him wayyyyyy down further, not just the next room but in the room several doors down. lmao!!
When he was telling the tale, i thought, wtf!! why soooooo far down the hall? Big Grin

Then when she got him alone, she told him, "Would you like a happy finish?"
Omg. Ladies, don't go to those touristy massage parlours. Because if your man isn't the faithful type, then he's gonna say, YEAH!!! Big Grin
but, to put a happy story to this.
a true story.
he said, NO thank you.

Awwwwww isn't that lovely!!???

I thought omg SUCH a wonderful guy!!!! Big Grin Big Grin
thoughtful and faithful men turning down "happy finishes" when their gfs are down the hall. lol

there are great men out there!!! everywhere.
I've made art for presents for quite a few loved ones and family members. I've also made jewelry for my mom and a few friends. I did a baby shower for my sil and for a friend, complete with a gorgeous diaper cake. I've made dinners, cakes, etc. for loved ones (some on the gourmet side, others homey and comfy). I've made stuffed animals and baby clothes for friends' kids.
My ex got me a horse for xmas a yr into our marriage. He's also gotten other extravagant things (laptop, etc), and these would be great except he would later bitch and complain about having gotten me those things (threatened to shoot my horses, break the computer, etc). My mom has spoiled me with massage salon gift cards, my favorite camera lens (and a few others), and other things she knew I wanted. My sister surprised me with an out of state visit so she could go to court with me (divorce and custody). My mom and sister have made gifts for me (and others). My mom and my sister both spent a lot of time with me in the hospital when I was having my babies, giving me foot rubs, and keeping me company. My kids have picked flowers for me, drawn pictures, etc....and I still have them all in a keepsake box. My oldest and dearest friend came out from her state when I left my husband to help me, and be a support. She's also spoiled me a bit with shopping sprees, vacations, etc. My favorites have been surprises from loved ones for no other reason than they knew I needed a pick me up, you know those little gestures that are out of the blue.

Big Grin i love my family too!

i brought over some wine over to my sisters, and we had dinner there. Came home late.
but it's nice to spend dinner/family evenings, eating a good meal with people you care about.

we watched this film about gambling. I didnt particularly like it though, but it was ok.
Lots of famous actors too.
