I updated my post with more explanation but mainly its their sheer confidence and swagger. I don't think they usually treat their partners right necessarily but they're the epitome of chill "I'm just happy to be here" energy. mafia don energy. I probably also get that vibe from them for synastry reasons. also ironic the lyrics I posted about Taurus are from a song called "Alpha Omega". MGK's pretty beast bc he randomly took on Eminem in a rap then followed it up with a cute LTR with Megan Fox. Meanwhile Em's still hung up on someone who literally looks like shit, I get he has a huge heart but it's not the most alpha thing yk.

From a work perspective, I have noticed mostly Capricorn and Leo men in leadership positions. Scorpios have the potential, but they are usually prickly and people are always split 50/50 over whether or not they like them.

Alpha males, I'd say leo, taurus and geminis. Alpha females, I'd go with cap and leo. I do think that being alpha is not always a good thing, though, depending on how it's handled.
When it comes to leaders and pisces, I can't help but think of a job I had a while ago, where all the leaders except for one(gemini) were pisces men and most of the people they were leading were scorpios and caps...who were constantly pissed that the leaders could never make a decision that was thought through and would actually work long term. It ended in something close to rebellion. People quit left and right.

I would guess it's whatever sign cares too much to be alphas. I know one thing is for certain. I don't know any Gemini alphas. Geminis excel best in the music industry (mostly hip hop), politician and managerial and businessmen and women industry. Still don't think that makes them alphas imo. Not any mutables - they like being nice and cooperating. Not Aquarius or Libra (sun in fall and detriment, talk over action). Not Cancer or Capricorn (Cardinal, but feminine, so not initiating). Not Taurus and Scorpio (more feminine signs). Who does that leave? Aries and Leo.
The sun is exalted in the cardinal fire sign, Aries - so final answer = Aries. This is on an interpersonal level. If you're talking something like a CEO, Aries qualities aren't the best - now Aquarius, Capricorn, and Libra are better (anything to do with people cooperation/team building/management are not an Aries strengths).

You're right, I think my definition of alpha is level of indifference and I thought it was a brave move, and I don't normally listen to him outside of that diss song (the "Alpha Omega" was one my Pisces ex played on film while doing pushups, he probably likes it bc of his Taurus bm). but yeah, I liked Rap Devil more than Killshot. my rap taste might be shit. plus every time I hear the Sammi Sweetheart opening I think of that Danielle Bregoli song that used the same sample "Hi Bich".

i think they are kinda aware of the danger of drawing too much attention to themselves and that manipulation/persuasion works better when it's subtle and discreet.
i think they subconsciously know this principle:
"people love to buy but hate being sold to."
i know a handful of gemini who could be considered intellectual alphas in real life including one of my younger brothers. he seems fearless to me. as if like, there's something unmovable inside of him (an unwavering resolve?). he doesn't seem to back down in the face of fear. he does have a leo moon though that might give him more bravery.
