It's GREAT. Loved Egypt. The museum in Cairo is excellent, Valley of the Kings, Luxor Temple,Karnak, and do not take offense at people bumping into you on the sidewalks. It's jst the way they walk over there.
Do not fall for the antiquites vendors, it's almost all fake crap. You will LOVE it, and take the Pyramid tour on camel back at sunset...it's intense at that time!
Watch for snakes in the caves and tombs...they are around.

Yes we visited all those places. We visited them all during the day, in fact during the roasting sun but twas all great nonetheless. The street vendors were hard to handle and it was quite hard to dodge them when we were walking casually down any street. After a few days though we toughened up enough to be able to go places without feeling too daunted. The only thing is that my daughter and I have quite bad diarrhoea since being served really bad food in our hotel. Still waiting for the bug or whatever to make its exit from our bodies.

We are going on holaday in august. We have been invited by friends who have great wealth to stay at there home in Tuscany it is located in the hills outside of Lucca. It is called villa arsina. We are both off the mounth of august so this will be brillant
