Hey, Layna! How's your weekend going??

Unfortunately my dear ladies the construction workers here look predominantly like this:



This is a good thing, keeps me from wrecking into the nearest light pole or driving off into a corn field.

Had too much not-so-good-for-you food this weekend. Very unlike me.

Last night I walked into my bathroom and noticed a mosquito on the wall.
My first instinct was to kill it.
I don't kill insects because they are —ugly?? or because they —scare?? me, I only kill them if I consider them to be parasites.
So I get close to the mosquito and say to him, —Wrong place, wrong time, little insect.??
I raised my arm and opened my hand and I calculated distance and speed needed to ensure its sudden death.
He didn't move a leg. In that instant something stopped me and I looked at it closely and thought about all the surviving it had to do to arrive there at that moment.
Its tiny life force was before me and I began to bargain with it??_
I told it??_
—I would usually take you out, but not because you are ugly, but because you are a parasite, you don't benefit humans and you carry diseases. But its not really your fault is it, that you are a mosquito.
I'm sure had you been given the choice, you would have chosen to be a higher life form instead.

So I wake up this morning and not a single mosquito bite on me. I turn to my girlfriend and say —Good Morning?? and I notice she is wearing a shiny-red lump on her forehead---as she asks me, ??Do I have like a bump on my forehead—-----
I'm still looking for that mosquito.
