First of all, women CAN have male friends. If that's your take on it Branh and Qbone then you are exceedingly immature. It's not impossible across the board - it may just be impossible for you Vguys.

I find it so amusing when a guy can't have his way with a woman they drop someone who could be a perfectly good human being becauae their infant side can't be immediately satisfied. I guess I will consider those dumped lucky. And, don't tell me I am being romantic, naive or unrealistic 'cause I can hear that excuse coming from a mile away. I am too grounded to have such notions so let me dispel that right away.

"Women who have men are friends just have their cake and eat it."

This is totally ridiculous. I don't deny there are c*ckteasers and "daytrippers" but just because someone doesn't feel the need to act on every sexual impulse doesn't mean they are playing games. Besides, there are plenty of men having their cake and eating it too. Women aren't mind readers dude. We cannot anticipate all your needs and wants. You're just mad 'cause you can't have it all your way. If the guy is doing all the boyfriend stuff and expecting some action at the end of the line and gets none then he's let himself be taken for a chump.

First of all branh, I am sick of this woman hating bullshit you subsist on. Clearly, you can't have your way with women so you delegate them to a position of subservience and pretense. In your world something must be wrong with them if they're not bending over for you so you can screw them in the ass or kneeling down to lick your boots. There's a great Bob Dylan song with the line "It takes a woman like you, to get to the man in me...

So, fuck all that neanderthal bullshit and get real yourself. Despite, what the male written Bible says, woman was not put here to serve your needs exclusively. THE GODDESS LIVES!

Emotional economics? Romance novels, soap operas! PUUUUUUUUUUUUULEEEEEEEEEEEEEEZ. What a load? Get real dude. All the most revered men in literature have written poems devoted to whom - WOMEN! All the great masterpieces in museums, with the exceptions of the gay masters like Michaelangelo (a fellow Pisces) are of whom - WOMEN. All of Veermeers painting included only one subject - WOMEN! The most recognized female figure in all of art, the Mona Lisa - a WOMAN! Basilicas, domes are designed to represent the female womb, the Vessel. Foundation my ass.

I love how you guys repeatedly show your ignorance and grandiose sense of self-importance. You're so busy trying to prove something ALL OF THE TIME. Any man with so much too prove is surely over compensating for something.

I ruin this board? I can't tell you how many people have told me off board how you guys have ruined it for them and have chosen not to participate as they once did.

Only simpletons call other people stupid when then they have nothing else to say. Yeah, Qbone, your level of maturity is just oozing out of you as demonstrated by your infantile retort. Generalize all you want. I am sure you guys will scramble away to some other part of this message board trying to prove yourselves over there too. So typical. Because I don't swallow your bullshit definition of manhood or bow down to your male exultations of civilization means I don't know what a MAN is. You guys are truly pathetic. Don't you realize a real man would not be bothered to go through this ridiculous exercise of penile providence. He would know who is and be content with it.

Once again Branh, you completely miss the point. I am not talking just about ART, I am talking about how over the centuries men have shown their respect and love for women through the depiction of art. Of course you would see it as uselees because you have no use for women unless they spread their legs for you. Obviously, they don't do it enough to suit you and with good reason. Do yourselves a favor and stop thinking your represent MANHOOD!

Hey Ldybg377. They can try and push me out all they want. They just can't handle it so they want me to sheepishly disappear into the DXP woodwork so their goldbricking asses can reign and lord of this tiny little kingdom where men invent wheels, hunt for game and sail tall ships while polluting the planet and leaving manhind in a constant state of chaos and fear.

Half of the worlds most vicious tyrants who ruled have reportedly been gay. But you guys would know all about it wouldn't you guys since you frequently refer to it.

NO Branh, you only enjoy woman who see things through your dark, adapted eye. As for your little illustration. What is your point? That you don't understand the corporate mind set? Of course they want to keep Joe in that position because Joe made himself an easy mark. If he's happy in his position then why move him? Besides, corporations aren't interested in making their employees happy. They could care less. Why would a manager move an employee who covers his ass all the time? If you're not stepping up to the plate and making your intentions known why would they change what is clearly working on THEIR behalf.

Why should a woman change the status of the relationship from friendship to sex if a man hasn't made his intentions clear? Just because he hangs around in the same spot, all the time doing the same damn thing repeatedly with a smile on his face doesn't mean he's earned the right to move up. Corporations want employees who are bold, daring and willing to take risks because it means their game. They want workers who are hungry, not complacent. Like your poor, pitiful Joe.

"You don't understand making money. No wonder you are a socialist."

Where the fuck do you get that I am a Socialist? You really need to stop with the political labels when I haven't declared it anywhere. It's a bad habit you have and you really need to get it in check. If I say I am a Socialist, then you can call me one but don't let your perceptions run away with you.

I've worked in the Corporate sector for a SVP for 10 years so your scenarios, as usual, have nothing to do with the real world. Incompetent, inexperienced people get hired and promoted with such frequency in my company it's dizzying and they've had the financial best year ever in my division. They want people who will bend to their will and carry out their plans, whatever they may be, with no questions asked. If they want to they will hand pick someone to get you up to speed so you aren't behind. I've seen it time and time again. They want people they can mold, not boatrockers. You can make them millions but if they don't think they can control you, your ass ain't going anyway. What you say makes sense but it is not what happens. My brother worked at Xerox for 30 years and just retired at 55. We've had many conversations about the workplace. And don't fricking tell me I don't know about money. My bro has taught me a lot about finance. And since he has already retired at 55, I'll take his advice or your 20 something, limited, no real world scenario completely devoid of vision crap.

You mention all these men who did great things. Lets not forget that these accomplishments happened in the 1900's when we lived in a patriarchal society.

Ok i had to comment on this.....

i totally agree with ya LDY... back in those days a woman could not get a patent in her own name.... until the late 1800s laws forbade women in most states from ownin' property or enterin' into legal agreements in their own names. Instead, a woman's property would be in the name of her father or husband.

For instance, lets take Sybilla Masters ...many people believe that she was the first American woman inventor. In 1712 she developed a new corn mill, but was denied a patent because she was a woman. Three years later the patent was filed successfully in her husband's name.

so there u go...... women r brainy too 🙂... and heres a list of inevntions by women:

Circular saw....Tabitha Babbitt

Electric hot water heater....Ida Forbes

Elevated railway....Mary Walton

Engine muffler....El Dorado Jones

Fire escape...Anna Connelly

Kevlar, used in radial tires, crash helmets n bulletproof vests...Stephanie Kwolek

Life raft.....Maria Beaseley

Rotary engine........Margaret Knight

Submarine lamp and telescope.........Sarah Mather

Windshield wiper--------Mary Anderson

there r loadz more like:

Alphabet blocks
Dishwasher
Disposable diaper 😛😛😛😛😛
Ironing board
Liquid Paper?, a quick-drying liquid used to correct mistakes printed on paper
Locomotive chimney
Medical syringe
Paper-bag-making machine
Apgar tests, which evaluate a baby?s health upon birth

"So what Catfish, just because it happens doesn't mean it is right either."

So what? Weren't you the one who asked to apply my "logical" mind to the profile you built? Now that you don't like what I have to say you want to dismiss you're portrayal? Make up your mind Branh, you can't have it both ways.

Naturally it's not right. I could elaborate on all the scandalous billing and accounting that goes on but I won't. The head of Human Resources glowers at women's breast in this company every time he gets on the elevator. Believe me, I know the difficulties lie with management. My company publishes excellent books on leadership and management but do you think anyone here is required to read them? Nooooooooooooo. As you know, getting some of the higher ups to grab hold of operations and force standard methods can be daunting task, best not handled by anyone who has lost their idealistic fervor.

Wow. You met a real live Socialist once so now I must be one huh? VIVA ALLENDE! POWER TO THE PEOPLE, POWER TO THE PEOPLE RIGHT ON!(CLAP CLAP)

I spend a disproportionate amount of time bashing Capitalism? We had one, ONE exchange in which I discussed the downside to Capitalism. I wasn't bashing it. I spend a disproportionate amount time fixated on Virgo men and arguing with you. Man, can you exaggerate.

"Well if Einsteins wife is going to own his accomplishments, then she may as well own his failure. Perhaps you are familiar with the Grand Unified Theory?" First of all his wife never got the credit she deserves whether it was a failure or a success. Since Virgos are considered the pessimists of the zodiac (not my words) you would focus on the failures rather than the successes.

BTW, I was in business with my aunt for many years. I was very successful, handled the Marketing and brought in lots of new clients. But, my aunt is clinically bi-polar and was unmanageable so I had to dissolve my end of the business. If I wish to be an entrepreneur again I will do so in my own time.

Female circumcision, the partial or total cutting away of the external female genitalia, has been practiced for centuries in parts of Africa, generally as one element of a rite of passage preparing young girls for womanhood and marriage. Often performed without anesthetic under septic conditions by lay practitioners with little or no knowledge of human anatomy or medicine, female circumcision can cause death or permanent health problems as well as severe pain. Despite these grave risks, its practitioners look on it as an integral part of their cultural and ethnic identity, and some perceive it as a religious obligation.

Opponents of female genital cutting, however, emphasize that the practice is detrimental to women's health and well-being. Some consider female circumcision a ritualized form of child abuse and violence against women, a violation of human rights.

The debate over female circumcision is relatively recent. The practice was rarely spoken of in Africa and little known in the West until the second half of this century. In the 1950s and 1960s, however, African activists and medical practitioners brought the health consequences of female circumcision to the attention of international organizations such as the United Nations and the World Health Organization (WHO). Still, it was not until 1979 that any formal policy statement was made: A seminar organized by WHO in Khartoum to address traditional practices affecting the health of women and children issued recommendations that governments work to eliminate the practice.1

During the following decade, the widespread silence surrounding female circumcision was broken. After African women's organizations met in Dakar, Senegal, in 1984 to discuss female circumcision and other detrimental cultural practices, the Inter African Committee Against Harmful Traditional Practices (IAC) was formed. With national committees in more than 20 countries, the IAC has been important in bringing the harmful effects of female circumcision to the attention of African governments. In addition, other African women's networks and organizations that had focused primarily on such issues as reproductive health, women's rights and legal justice became involved in working against the practice. Such groups as Mandalaeo Ya Wanawake in Kenya, NOW in Nigeria and New Woman in Egypt now include the elimination of female circumcision among their goals.

HOLY SHIT! I ask a question about sexual tension and we're now on female cirucmcision and the inferiority of African culture? Africa only happens to be the cradle of Civilization but I am not going to debate this with Branh because his level of intolerance is only matched by his level of ignorance surperceded by his unwillingness to insert another plausible concept into his head other than his own.

You think barbarism is practiced only in inferior cultures? There is a little known fact that sterilization was practiced here in the US on particular groups of women. Puerto Rican women who worked in factories were involuntary sterilized in the 1950s when they emigrated here en mass. Not mention what was done to the Japanese women during their "internment". Look it up 'cause I am not going to waste my time trying to get you up to speed. I'll give a current example of medical barbarism now being santioned by schools - it's called RITALIN.

Branh, the problem is to avoid identifying your ego with what you believe. When you identify your ego with your ideas, you really believe you are those ideas, and you will defend them as if they were literally your own body. What you can do now is put all of your energy into expanding your mind. Look for experiences that will open up new dimensions of reality. Can't we just for once, please focus on the topic at hand!
