Do you know what this is? It is certainly a handicap! Furthermore, if you knew someone who had it, how would you change your behaviour towards that person? Is it possible, even in a small measurement, that everyone may have a dose of it within the makeup of their personality?

To make it really scary, a person with this disorder is normally above average in intelligence.

Hey, I wasn't putting this here to suggest anything. I was just seeing if anyone in here knows about this and knows people with this affliction.

P-Angel,
I will have to read up on this. My nephew was diagnosed as "Austic". He didn't speak for the first 3 years of life but he now exhibits what is considered "normal" behavior. He's come a long way from the initial diagnosis. He really is adorable. Now, he's outgoing, affectionate, communicative, bright - just an angel. I love watching him discover things. CF36

Hi P-Angel,
I don't personally know anyone with Asperger's, but on a recent English project on geniuses I was helping a girlfriend out with, I remember that in one of the books that Einstein was one of those people who began his early life with Asperger. If you look up his bio and read about his early childhood life, it describes it in great detail of how his mother dealt and coped with his disorder, and how he blossomed into what he had become. AW
