Hello Qbone. Nice to hear from you. *LOL* I'm sure you can ask for it too, soon... 😉

I was thinking of fragrance too... out of a few other stuff. But this man already has his own bottle of perfume... I'm not sure how much he'll appreciate another one. And what if he does not like the smell of it? And it's kind of expensive although I don't really mind the spending, but I don't want him to think there's anything between us. What do you think? Maybe something practical, simple but still nice... 🙂

Any other suggestions?

Well.... then tell me how his private life look alike.. generally what he use or how he manage his private life.

Most funny B-day present I have ever received was a king size coffee mug from (British cinematographer museum) and I love it? got it at my 40th B-day and still use it everyday?literally everyday..!

There are things that become dear to people no matter what they are.. I've received a bottle of champagne form a very special friend when I was 35 I never opened it and it still around..

Ties/pens/ etc. are boring stuff, look for something exciting something that catch the eyes Virgo mind are obsessed with looks and practical stuff?. Hope this help some how.

I agree, Qbone... at the end, it's the thought that counts, aye? Hmm, I think I'll just walk around the malls some day and see what I can find... thanks a lot for the advice!

excess, I know that would've been a great gift... but what makes it different from any other day...? You can't just give him sex as presents all the time, can you? That would've been, a little pathetic? >.< And another problem is, we are "no longer" together. I think we'll both appreciate it if we don't mess the situation any further. Thanks anyway! 🙂

MissBovine - Since I don't know the age of the Virgo - if it is an older guy and he has hobbies - something that he can use, a practical gift. My Virgo friend loves the outdoors - hunting and fishing - so I make up gift baskets of things he can use - I am wondering now myself what to get him. His b'day is coming up in September.

Anything that can help him organize himself (day-planner, key chain, book on what ever topic he likes, an earthy fragance) Always be mindful of the practicality as they don't like something they can't use - I have given the one I know, anything from a mini-tool set to a gun cartridge tote.

"ERZEUGNIS DER UdSSR Sowjetischer.....Halbtrockin SEKT MOSKAU"

it's german and means: a product of USSR Sowjet.... 'half-dry',hehehe, what do you guys call wine that's between sweet and dry— well that's "Halbtrocken".
"SEKT" means sparkling wine, not original champagne!!! and "MOSKAU" is, wouldn't you have guessed, MOSCOW!

it's probably in german because it was produced for the former German Democratic Republic (former east germany)...

glee: My Virgo friend is a young man, turning 21 to be exact. 🙂 I'm not sure if he has any particular hobbies. Just like any normal young man, I guess. He's currently still studying and spending a lot of his time with his studies. He's in an architecture course and that takes a lot of his time. I wanted to buy something practical too. I believe a gift should be meaningful to the recipient, either in a sentimental way or a practical way. Not just anything. But so far, I can't think of anything for him yet. >.
